Let's recycle some of my Twitter profile: Christian, wife, mom, daughter, sister. Texas is my home. Dark chocolate aficionado. Castle, Bones, and Covert Affairs on the DVR. Smile on my face. Not enough sleep (seriously, I should be in bed right now).

I piddled at writing fan fiction 10-15 years ago in the X-Files and JAG fandoms, and gave it up for years until Castle, which probably occupies way too much of my headspace. Three or four of my X-Files one-shots are still lurking at Ephemeral under another pen name. If you're sick enough to be interested enough to ask, PM me and I'll share. Not claiming they're good, they're just...there.

My first fanfic-style rambling was a sheet of notebook paper in high school with a scene from Hunter scratched out on it. Fairly certain it ended up in a garbage can. I didn't know anything like this existed back then - I just figured I was a little strange. That may hold true.

In my fanficcing dreams, I'd also like to dabble in the Covert Affairs and Scarecrow & Mrs. King universes. Still pondering what that might look like.

I think it's fair to say Lee and Amanda were my first genuine OTP, and I still ship them like a Nimitz-class aircraft carrier. If you're too young to know who that is, I weep for you. I own that one on DVD (Season Four, March 2013!).
