![]() Author has written 10 stories for Naruto, Attack on Titan/進撃の巨人, and Hunter X Hunter. Hey all. This account was created for the sake of posting a fic I wrote as a birthday present for my friend, whose birthday is on the 2nd of August, which happens to be the same day as that of Tsunade's from Naruto Shippuuden. My profile seems kinda empty, so I think I'll update it a little. ...I shall talk about my username? (First of all, don't judge me because I use a flower in my username.) According to a site, a Carnation flower mainly symbolizes fascination, distinction and love. I guess I'm kind of fascinated with writing? I've always loved to write, mainly fantasy and action, because I'm not half as poetic as I'd like to think myself as. Distinction and love? Uh, I don't think it's really in context here. Anyway, the larger part of the reason why 'Carnation' is in my username is because it's actually part of one of an older pen name I once used, so there's sentimental value there. Moving on, 'Cascade'. I have no idea why I chose this. It sounds flowy and... uh, 'Carnation Cascade' is an alliteration? Yeah, I think that's it. Though I did search the dictionary and 'cascade' can mean abundance! Which actually fits since 'Carnation Cascade' could mean 'Abundance of Fascination'! Yeah. I sound like I'm trying very hard to convince myself here. - Carnation Cascade My Fics: 1) Inexplicable Bond (Oneshot) I am very sorry to say that all my non-oneshot fanfics are on hiatus! :( I guess inspiration hasn't exactly been pouring in... Plus I'm kind of caught up with work :P I'm really sorry :( A quick note: 1) I sort of like writing about friendships and somewhere between the hurt/comfort genre. 2) It really gets to me, the fact that I have loads of ideas that can be crafted into good fics, but lack the time/patience/interest to do so. I start losing interest in fics that I haven't continued in a while... and that eventually leads to dropping it. Unfortunately. 3) When it comes to reviews/favorites/follows, I would be lying if I said I didn't care about them. Many fanfic writers feed off the energy gained from every single review, favorite, and follow, so it can be upsetting for fanfic writers who have put a lot of effort into a fic that doesn't get enough love in the end. |
