Alright, lets take this seriously for a change.

My name really is Jessica Dawn, and I write in the Harry Potter and Supernatural fandoms almost exclusively now. When it comes to Supernatural, I tend to think more along the lines of how things could have been changed if _ had happened. I like the reality bending aspect when it comes to that particular fandom. I am also a fan of some DeanDamage. Bonus points if you remember what that is.

As far as Harry Potter goes, I am not a fan of exploring the world that JK laid out for us in the books. I try to avoid writing about Harry and friends only because I have such a respect for the work that she created that I would never want to mess with it. I could never do it justice. Rather, I focus on the next generation, and even more often, the marauders.

Regulus Black is my favourite character. Don't judge me. I enjoy writing him, and exploring different aspects of his psyche. I enjoy exploring his relationships with other people, and would actually love to get into roleplaying as him again. If you're interested in that, send me a PM and I'll send you my Skype.

I feel as though he is a grossly misunderstood character with a complicated past that deserves to be explored.

And now about me. Some of you have read my works as far back as what feels like an entire lifetime ago. And really it is.

I am now 28 years old, and still live in Toronto. I volunteer for the Army Cadets and run their fundraising two nights a week in a local bingo hall as well as working at the only Bath and Body Works Outlet in Canada. I try and work as many hours as I possibly can in a week and try to maintain an active social life, but I do use Microsoft Word on my phone while I'm in transit. The most random things give me inspiration, whether it's a particular customer at the store, or an interaction with another customer at the bingo hall. I always have a notebook on me just in case I'm not able to write it out on my phone right away. Customers from the store have gone home with bottom boards in their bags that have my notes on them. I'm sorry to the one who got Regulus ramblings on his death, even though you'll likely never see this.

On November 2nd 2007, my mom passed away after a brief fight with brain cancer. I harbor many regrets surrounding her death and her condition before it. I've since lost my grandfather and a very close friend. I can be a pretty empathetic person, and their losses are carried with me every day, and did play into both my hiatus on writing and coming back.

I never plan on being away from these projects for years on end ever again. Call me out on it if I am.
