I am, all things considered, quite ordinary. If you passed me on the street you most likely wouldn't look twice; or even once, for that matter. This is my little corner of the interweb where I am able to pretend for just a moment that I can escape from the ordinary.

Currently, my life is such that I'm a professional student, studying Speech and Language Pathology with a view towards teaching people who can't speak good how to speak more good.

Sometimes, just sometimes, I like to write a little. Why the humble fanifiction, you ask? Or perhaps you didn't ask? I'm going to tell you anyway. It's fun to take my favourite characters from Film, TV, books etc. and make them do whatever I like. It amuses me, and helps to keep the creative juices flowing when study and life in general is driving me insane. It's good practice for those who enjoy writing in all its forms; good for developing technique, expression and such. An added bonus is that when others say nice things about your work, it feeds the portion of oneself which craves praise and admiration quite nicely.

I have multiple and varied likes and dislikes, which change on a day to day basis. I like reading, writing, and playing with language. I enjoy pretending that I know things about things, especially psychology. One of my long-term goals is to become a crazy cat lady. I'm have a love of alphabetisation, colour coding and eating squares of chocolate in multiples of two. I'm a chronic tea drinker. I love nothing more than a quiet night in with a bottle of wine, a bowl of cherries and an assortment of cheeses. I adore reading and watching films. I believe music is the stuff of life. I have a USB hub in the shape of a TARDIS which is seriously awesome... it makes the sound and everything.
