Too bad House couldn't have a conversation with Cameron about the life he had as a child, living with an abusive father, and a non confrontational mother who never stepped in to protect her child. He could voice his fears that he'll be like his father was...maybe she could convince him he wouldn't be that way. Obviously Wilson thinks House would be a terrible father, so no help there. Of course all these 'smart' doctors surrounding him and NO ONE figured out that House was abused, even though he exhibited EVERY symptom of a child abuse survivor. Cripes, House told Cuddy he HATED his father and she didn't even care...obviously since she drugged him and forced him to attend a funeral for the SOB.

Reading the first part of this chapter made me remember Cuddy's response when Wilson accused her of sleeping with House (because he was happy)…..her response: If I had slept with House I'd be on the floor in the corner dying of shame. Odd thing to say about a person you claim to love, but of course wish you didn't...what a skank.

I actually thought all along that House and Chase would have been better friends...they certainly had enough in common...both having worthless pieces of crap for fathers...oh and blind mothers.

The one trait of House that everyone seems to be forgetting is the fact that he DOESN'T make snap decisions during changes in his life. He needs to process the information and look at it from all angles. The fact that he was accosted the same night doesn't means he never got to process anything. He is doing it all now with the added bonus that his 'best friend' kept the information from him for whatever reason Wilson wants to slap on it. My guess is that Wilson was 'protecting' Cameron, since that is what Wilson does...he ALWAYS leaves House's side when there is conflict. And he ALWAYS sides with anyone other than House. Personally can't think of a single instance where Wilson was a true friend.

I think once Cameron remembers that House has to process things she might figure out that House would have made the right decision...since that is what HE does...

I read all the chapters at once and it was amazing and the Fakepsyche chapter was funny

I have read 4-5 chapter so far, way to much skipping around... and the way house talk? it just really doesn't work for me... In House personality he would just not talk, he would never just show such easy weakness and you didn't build anything really so far... may give this read another try late.

LECTURING WILSON IS MY LEAST FAVORITE WILSON...House is right...Wilson is just as screwed up as House is, but Wilson portrays himself as better. Who would want a 'friend' who CONSTANTLY tells them they are WORTHLESS...sooner or later they start to believe it...and in House's case, his father brought him up telling him he was worthless, so Wilson is just continuing with what House's father started...Wilson is no better than House's ABUSIVE father...

I really should be going to sleep, but I just have to how (and if) this resolves. I truly hope they end up together, despite all of the drama. They've been dancing around what they really want to say for far too long.

As glad as I am that they've reached this "truce," I still want them to end up together.
