Hi all! I'm a twenty-something teacher of English as a second language, my first language being French. However, I've been in love with the English language since my teenage years, thanks to TV shows such as Roswell, BtVS and One Tree Hill, and the Harry Potter books, all of which made me discover this amazing language bit by bit.

As I was finishing high school and getting ready for college, I was getting impatient for the fifth book in the Harry Potter series to come out, which prompted me to look for something to tide me over in the meantime. That's when I discovered the wonderful world of fandoms and fanfiction, and I've been hooked on it ever since.

Favorite books/authors: Harry Potter series, Lord of the Rings trilogy, Black Dagger Brotherhood series, Cut and Run series, John Grisham, Nora Roberts, Abigail Roux, Amy Lane, Harlan Coben, Camilla Lackberg, Stieg Larsson.

Important note: Before I posted my first story here on ffnet, I had been reading fanfic from a few fandoms on this site (mostly Mentalist and Harry Potter), but I had never taken the time to leave reviews (I was a full-on lurker, if you will). Now that I know how insanely awesome and good for the soul it is to receive reviews, I really want to make up for that. Therefore, I have decided to go back to every story that I read and appreciated here on ffnet, and to leave a review for each of them. It's my goal to slowly, but surely, make sure that every author who wrote stories that I loved knows it, and can in turn feel as grateful and appreciative as I do when I receive reviews. So in short, don't be surprised to see reviews from me appear all over the place, it's kind of my 2013 fandom resolution :)

To all my reviewers, but especially the guest/anonymous ones to whom I cannot answer directly: Thank you all so much for taking the time to review my stories! Your kind words mean the world to me, and they encourage me not to be scared to put my future ideas and plot bunnies into words for other people to enjoy. I feel very lucky to be on the receiving end of such positive and heart-warming comments, so again, thank you, and lots of love to you all :)
