This is a collection of short stories that recount moments in Sub-Zero's, Tundra's, and Smoke's childhoods. While I was writing "Sub-Zero: Origins," I kept coming up with these funny ideas about moments in Kuai Liang's, Tomas's, and Bi-han's childhoods, so I started writing them down and will keep adding to them until I can think of no more.

18 years after "Curse," Reiko hunts for Shinnok's amulet. Believing Kenshi to be the key to finding it, he kidnaps both Takeda and Olivia, Sub-Zero's daughter, to use as leverage against the swordsman. But when Erron Black helps them escape, they suddenly find themselves on a chase throughout Outworld with danger lurking around every corner.

When Raiden visits the new rulers of the Netherrealm to deliver a gift and a warning, his encounter with a particular revenant triggers memories of a time long past, under different circumstances. Rated T for language and thematic material.

Onaga is dead and everyone has returned home from Outworld. So what happens to them now? Each chapter is a stand-alone story about each MK character after the events of "The Curse of the Dragon Medallion," sort of an extended epilogue. This is a Sub-Zero origins story that intertwines elements from the games and the TV shows. It's about how the younger Sub-Zero finds a path independent of his brother's, and how he comes to fight for Raiden and the forces of good.
