After nearly a year, I've FINALLY caught up with the rest of the story! Sorry it took me so long. I would've reviewed each remaining chapter, but I eventually decided it was just easier to read it all at once and review at the end.

This has been quite the ride from beginning to end. Your stories always had a way of gripping me and keeping me glued to my seat, making me look forward to every update (despite my recent delays). The plots are always interesting, the characters are wonderfully written, and your fight scenes are intriguing from beginning to end.

When Olivia died (and I agree about her being the one to take out Reiko), I had a feeling she would come back, though initially, I was almost certain that Anya would sacrifice herself, using what was left of her energy after saving Morgan, to save her daughter. Of course, you had me worried when that wasn't the case when she used Sub-Zero's lifeforce instead, but I'm glad it happened that way (even if Sub-Zero had died after all... but he didn't, so YAY! - Happy endings!).

Although I'm sad that Olivia and Alex broke up in the end, I understand why it happened. Though, honestly, I'd probably do the same thing in Livy's shoes and not take him back. Also, I'm not surprised that she chose the codename 'Tundra' only because I thought it was fitting given the whole story and the father/daughter relationship theme.

All the characters were great, but the best one in this story in particular is Erron Black. Overall, he had so many great moments throughout the story and I love your take (and Helly's for that matter) on his character.

I only have one little critique, which doesn't affect my overall enjoyment of the series (especially since this is, after all, a story that focuses primarily on Olivia and Sub-Zero), but it was just something I noticed - I feel like we didn't really get any semblance of closure with Kenshi and Takeda. I mean, of course, I wasn't expecting them to hold hands and skip through a field of flowers towards the setting sun together, but I was kind of hoping Takeda would give Kenshi the chance to talk by the end of the story - something like in MKX during Takeda's chapter where there was still some hope for the future while they still had a very long way to go in mending the wound. Takeda's conversation with Hanzo seemed to hint at it somewhat, but it was clear during the Ascension ceremony that the conversation hadn't happened. Oh well, I guess I could always pretend. P

Speaking of Kenshi, thanks for that scare back in Chapter 40. P The way you wrote how he got lashed, I thought he was a goner. Same with Morgan after that tarkatan stabbed her, but that one was definitely a good way to plot out what was to come afterwards.

Anyway, I'm sad that this series is over (especially with that ending... dammit Rain, stay dead already! -shakes fist-), but as they always say, all good things must come to an end. Know that I look forward to your original novel once it's finally published. Best of luck in the future!

I mostly like the way you've ended the Outworld saga of the story on an open note. Although I can't help but think you were internally cackling when you brought Rain back. He just doesn't stay dead, even though I highly doubt he's anything but Havik's puppet at the moment.

I think Livy's moment with her dad was a fine enough ending for her, but it's still good to see one last fluffy scene with the entire family. Not gonna lie, I'll miss their shenanigans for quite some time.

Thank you for the shout outs in this chapter and the farewell note. Reading this chapter and typing this review feels rather bittersweet. It feels like yesterday when I first started reading Sub-Zero: Origins, even though I know that was way back in 2012 or 2013. Thanks for sharing this long and wild ride of a saga with us, and good luck with your future creative endeavours.
