Hi! Just a little bit about Me, LupinCriss.

My name is Hailey, and I am 20 years old. I'm from America and I'm a Quarter Japanese, Although, Looking at me, you would not be able to tell.

Currently I am a Teacher. I teach preschool aged children.

When I was 15 my Grandfather passed away. He was In the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He was always so proud of his service. Nearly a month Prior I had decided to join The Navy after High school. He passed away and I had forgotten about it. I had become very depressed. My family didn't know what to do. I was, from what they could tell, not as affected by his death as my Mother had. They did not know had I had felt. Around 6 months later I started looking into the Navy. Finding out what I had to do to join. Reading about the Military felt like it really brought me closer to my grandpa. From then I started acting normal again. Hanging out with my friends, Singing incredibly loudly to my music, and laughing with my family.

At one point I had told my family that I wanted to join. They did not believe me. Why would they? I was the person who had failed most of my HS classes(And would later fail High School). I did not take well to authority, I was always shy, And I had an attitude. That pained me the most. I wanted them to be on my side, and although my father was right behind me the entire time, I wanted everyone else around as well.

I started becoming more serious about it. Talkng to a recruiter, Taking my asvab(Scored 75), and filling out my background check. Finally they believed me. Unfortunately at that point i was 5 pounds over the limit, and they're quite serious about that. No matter what I did it wouldn't go down. I also, did not graduate and had to go an opposite route to get my diploma.

I had gotten all requirements to join, but my weight. I started college and took Electronics, next semester I took soccer to get me fit. I am now in the weight class that I need to be, yet I now have a job that I can't exactly leave at the moment.

I'm pretty happy with life at the moment. And despite the occasional depression, and minor anxiety, i'm happy where I'm at.
