I have enjoyed re-reading this story from years ago. You did a great job of showing a more mature Ron Weasley without turning him into a Mary Sue. I wish more fan fic writers would use "The Time-Turner" as an inspiration. There are a few plot points I'd like to see more often in Harry Potter fan fiction.

*Ron going back in time.
*Creating a better friendship with Harry and Hermione.
*Creating a better relationship with his family. Especially making Percy his favorite brother.
*Clearing the air with his parents about his treatment growing up.
*Giving Ron his own space at the Burrow.
*Taking the initiative to become better at magic before starting Hogwarts.
*Getting help in learning new branches of magic like Occlumency.
*Gaining the help of a house elf like Lucy.
*Interacting better with his Head of House, Professor McGonagall.
*Allowing Ron to excel at some Hogwarts classes like Transfiguration.
*Resolving the conflicts between Ron, Harry and Hermione in a mature manner.

I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation between Ron and the Sorting Hat. It covers all of the hypocritical aspects of Ron bashing in fan fiction.

I'd really like to see you sort Ron into Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff. Ron can still be friends with Harry and Hermione. But this would allow him to make friends from another house. It would also give Ron a chance to get out of the shadow of his older brothers.

I like all of your changes from canon. It amazes me that all it takes are a few positive moments to give Ron a happier childhood.

The tree house was a nice touch. When you have a house full of siblings, having your own place to escape to is a blessing. The only thing better than a tree house is a magical tree house.

I hope Ron follows up on his plan to get closer to Percy. I felt that Ron and Percy were the outcasts off the family. Percy could be Ron's favorite brother.

I liked the interaction between Ron and his family. Fred and George are more likable when the engage in friendly banter instead of bullying Ron.

I was looking for another Roncentric story to read. The beginning was straight to the point. It's as simple as wearing a time turner to give Ron a second chance.

The summary said smart!Ron ... I've never seen that done and am curious.

You got off to an amazing start here. I really enjoyed the chapters posted. I hope you come back to finish one day. :)
