Hey all! Welcome to my profile page :D I have been deep into a book series called A Song of Ice and Fire by George R. R Martin and it's subsequent HBO series a Game of Thrones, so you will most likely see posts regarding them on this account. Anyways I would first like to say that I strive to put out the best work that I can possibly create. This means that anything I post will be proofread and beta'd before I upload it. This also means that I will not write for any story unless I am 100% focused on that fandom (or in the case of my original works, to that particular story). I apologize in advance because this means updates may be few and far between, but I refuse to half ass my work. It's not fair to me and it's certainly not fair to you. That said, if you like a story, the best way to get it updated is to review and even PM me. I'm not saying an update will happen in the course of a few days after you do this, but it does kick my butt into gear and it does let me know people are reading and enjoying. I try to respond to all my reviews and messages but there are times that I'm either too busy or something happens where I can not respond. This does not mean I am not reading and/or listening though! I love each and everyone one of you for your time and your words! So please keep them coming!

Due to an influx of amazing PMs and reviews for and regarding Of Honor and Lies, I feel you all are due an explanation. First, some good news (I hope): I HAVE ABSOLUTELY *NO* CURRENT PLANS TO DISCONTINUE THE STORY. That said, you guys have been so awesome and supportive and patient that I feel you are owed an explanation as to why updates have been so few and far between. I am currently working on my Masters of Library and Information Science, which has turned out to be about a hundred times more grueling and time consuming than I realized. Because of this, I have had very limited free time. I work on the story every chance I get, but yeah...it's an uphill battle. Anyways, I hope this puts some of your fears at ease. I love you guys and I am so very grateful you have stuck by me for so long and have been sending me such wonderful thoughts, kind words, and supportive vibes.

I am a HORRIBLE person. I am so so so sorry that I haven't updated, you guys! I could make the usual excuses about being busy (all of which are true) but I still feel like it is a poor excuse. Because of this, I have made a decision. If I can't finish the next chapter by next weekend, I will just post what I have so far. There is still so much I want to put into the chapter, but you guys have waited long enough. You guys have been so absolutely amazing in your patience, and I have loved each and every PM and review you guys have sent me, and you deserve to see what happens next. So I promise, next weekend you WILL have an update! THE STORY IS NOT ABANDONED!

Update: July 1, 2014:

I am not sure if anyone is actually reading this, however I am currently in the process of writing the next chapter of Honor and Lies, though I have admittedly hit a bit of a snag. I am really really sorry that it is taking so long, my dear and wonderful reviewers. I have had a lot going on so the writing process has been slow (I try to get a whole POV done each night, but sometimes I only get a paragraph out before I need to head to bed). I am at the moment 12 pages into the next chapter, and I know exactly how I want it to end, however I am having a lot of difficulty getting there. If you guys are getting desperate, I'd be happy to post what I have, however I would much prefer to post the chapter how it is meant to be. I leave the decision up to you, however. Let me know through PM or Review if you want it now or want to wait.

Update: March 11, 2014:

I have been getting many reviews saying that they are sorry that my story, Of Honor and Lies, has been discontinued. I want to put to rest, here and now, any beliefs or fears you all might have of this story being discontinued. IT IS NOT ABANDONED by any means. I have just had a very very VERY busy personal life. I have recently moved and I have just been accepted into a masters program for library sciences, so it may be even longer before I update next, but please know that I am not giving up on this story. In fact, I work on it every spare moment I have. I promise if the time comes where I have run out of ideas for this little fic, I will make it very clear that it has been discontinued, but until then I hope you will all remain as patient and awesome as you have been. You have no idea how much your adds and your reviews and PMs mean to me. Sometimes they are the only bright part of my day.

Happy New Year to everyone!!! So, as always, I feel like I should start with an apology. If any of you have been keeping up with the updates here, you'd know that I recently moved to a new place and between getting the new place updated and settling in and hosting various holidays, I have been EXTREMELY busy. Add that to the fact that somehow I lost almost half of what I had previously written, and, well...yeah. I am so sorry for the lack of updates, I truly truly am. I am happy to announce, however, that I found a very early version of the next chapter for Honor and as I have the day off due to a New Year snow storm, I am going to hopefully make some progress. I want to say an update may occur as soon as the weekend, but I can't make any promises. It all depends on the storm, power outages, etc. But as always, thank you to EVERYONE who has reviewed, PMed, or even just read my little story so far. You guys are amazing and I can't express how much your support means to me.

Oh my goodness, you guys. I am SO unbelievably sorry for my long absence. I have been going through a lot this year, and I know it has been a long time since I've updated Of Honor and Lies. To those of you who have messaged and reviewed and followed me; I am SO grateful and so honored you guys are taking the time to not only read the story, but to also write such wonderful and helpful reviews and messages. You guys are unbelievable and I do not deserve you! I unfortunately have somewhat bad news for you all, as it will probably be a little while longer before you see an update. I am in the middle of a very stressful move and it is taking TWICE as long as originally planned. Because of this, I have not had time to even THINK about the story, let alone write for it. I promise that as soon as I am settled I will write like the wind,

but until then I hope you'll stick with me a little longer. I love you guys SO MUCH. I hope you all know how thankful I am! Much love and hope to see you at the next chapter :)

Update: March 5, 2013:

I apologize to all of the followers for Of Honor and Lies for this horrible lack of updates. I don't know if any of you actually read my updates on here or not, but in the case that you do, I feel I owe you an explanation. I have had a very bad run of luck these past couple of months in RL and unfortunately there is only so much of it I can take. I won't give details except to say that I have been very depressed as of late, and my story writing has suffered for it. I am so so so sorry for this because I know you all have been patiently waiting for a new chapter. As an avid fanfiction reader myself, I know exactly how frustrating it is to wait long periods of time before an update is made and fearing it will never come. I hope to put some of those fears aside for you guys, because, as it stands now, I have NO INTENTIONS OF ABANDONING THIS STORY. If ever there comes a time when this changes, I will be sure to let you know in a clear cut way. I promise I will have something for you, I am just not sure when this will be. Please bear with me.

Happy New Year everyone! Hope 2013 is a good year for everyone! Anyways I am happy to say that after a rather lengthy break from Of Honor and Lies, writing for the next chapter has yet again commenced. Hopefully it will be up soon. My goal is by the end of the month but I make no promises. It all depends on what RL decides to throw at me. Anyways, thank you all for your continued support! Update: Dec. 1, 2012:

Chapter 7 of Of Honor and Lies is...well...not cooperating. I was hoping to get it up this week but it doesn't look like that is happening. Sorry guys, I'm trying hard but I'm really having a hard time with how I want it to start and how much time I want to have passed between the last chapter and this one. I have tried to start on scenes with other characters, which is working...but the problem is still there and it refuse to work itself out. Because of this I've been working on another original story. That one is also giving me problems but yeah, that's a tale for another day. What I am TRYING to say is that as of now my muse is not cooperating so it might be a while before chapter 7 is up. THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT THE STORY IS ON HIATUS OR THAT I'VE GIVEN UP. I still go back to it every night and work on it sentence by sentence, but this is why it's taking so long. If anyone would like to help move it along I'd love to bounce some ideas off your head so PM me if you'd like.

Ok so I think I may have been a little ambitious with this chapter. I don't know who I was kidding trying to fit in all of what I planned to fit in and have it out at a reasonable time. I think I may cut it a little short and save the rest for the next chapter. That said, it still has a long way to go. Sorry guys, I am a terrible person .

Update Aug. 8, 2012:

So I just got done with the scene that was causing me the most problems but there's still a lot to go, which brings me to my question to all of you: Would you rather I cut this chapter short and get it up, or would you rather see the chapter in its entirety? I realize it has been a long time, much longer than I intended and I can't apologize enough. I have about eleven pages of it right now give or take (this is of course in Word...the site itself seems to condense it) and it only delves into three characters. I personally would like to finish it just because I wanted to reveal a few things in this chapter that will not come to pass until the end but since it's been so long I leave it up to you. PM me with your wishes and I'll listen :) As always I love you all!

AAAAH Gods above and below I'm so sorry guys! I didn't mean for it to be this long but alas, I've hit another snag. This next chapter has a LOT going into it and it's not even close to half finished yet. I've hit a rather large block at one particular scene and I hate moving past it onto others but I think I'm going to have to in order to see if I can get through it. Also the story in general is kinda growing legs and walking on its own so, um...yeah! I'm planning on working on it all this weekend though so I hope you'll bear with me. I'm hoping it will be up within the next couple of weeks but alas, I can't make any promises. Keep the reviews coming though, and the PMs because really, believe it or not they help! I love you!

Update June 30,2012:

So I have almost finished my outline of the next chapter of Honor and Lies and I'm hoping to start writing it out tomorrow. I know I promised to have it out fairly soon, and I'm sorry it's taken this long, but please bear with me for a bit longer. It will be up soon I promise! I'm thinking either this week or next week, but it all depends on how busy RL gets. I hope you all are well and thanks so much for all the messages and reviews and subscribing! Update June 9, 2012:

So I pretty much have a rough outline of the plot for the entire Of Honor and Lies story completed. Which...is fantastic for me because I have NEVER completely plotted out a story before. Ever. So yeah...you all should be excited right now because it means that I am serious about this little fic of mine! Rejoice with me guys, rejoice with me! Once I have it completely plotted out, which will hopefully be tonight, I will start working again on the next chapter. It should come fairly easily now that I know where I want to go with it so hopefully it shouldn't take long to update it. Hopefully. The only reason it would take awhile would be because of Real Life, which I have no control over, and not because of Writer's Block so yeah. Cross your fingers that life runs smoothly for awhile guys! And as usual please keep in touch. I love hearing from you all!

Of Honor and Lies has been updated! Thank you to those who have reviewed, messaged me, and/or subscribed. You guys are so amazing and I can't even begin to explain how grateful I am for the support. I never dreamed that this story would be as big of a hit as it seems to have become. Now the pressure is on to plot this thing out and update it! But that's ok, I enjoy the challenge...mostly...;) I'm so sorry if updates seem to take forever. I know how frustrating that is for a reader. But please understand that in order for me to be proud of what I'm publishing I have to plot it out and that takes a lot of time sometimes, especially if you're like me and write by stringing certain scenes that won't leave you alone together. It is no easy task. My sweat, tears, and blood (you know, like when you just can't think of what to write and you bang your head against the keyboard?) literally go into my stories and I really hope that hard work shows and pays off. But I am a reader just as much (if not more) than I am a writer, so I know how upsetting it is when an author takes forever to update, or doesn't update ever. Especially when there is no way of knowing if they've abandoned it altogether. I refuse to be one of those people, which is why I try very hard to reply to every review I get and try to update my profile regularly, just so you guys know what's going on. Unfortunately that is all I can do at times. I hope you guys understand, and I hope that you will continue your wonderful support. I love each and every one of you!
