Author has written 11 stories for Megamind. Just a quick word about me before you move on… I’m a former preschool teacher and a mom of 4 kids of my own; one who has now freshly entered the wide, scary world of adulthood, and the rest still young and working their way through the growing pains of childhood and adolescence. In the last three years I’ve been through my share of major life changes, some have been tragic and difficult to understand, and some amazing, and filled with hope. I’ve reached brand new points of self-assurance in this three year journey, and then at times turned around to second guess myself all over again; in a word, LIFE has hit me full on, and hit hard! But the one thing that has stayed a constant bright light in the last three years of LIFE has been my newly discovered love of writing; as much of it as I can squeeze out of the miniscule amount of free time I have. And the one and only thing that inspired this new love was a goofy… and very special… animated movie that stole my heart in November of 2010 and continues to steal it to this day, nearly three years later… Dreamworks Animation’s Megamind. Who knew that such a silly, touching, and wonderful cartoon could stir up enough emotion and inspiration in a girl like me to make me pour so much of myself into a collection of Fanfiction stories that’ll never really go anywhere? But heck, we all need to have our own special brand of crazy, and I’m very thankful that this has been mine. Maybe someday I'll move on to writing for other fandoms, or even take the big leap to trying more original ideas of my own, but for now I'm happy where I'm at. Megamind is the movie that started it all for me, and will always hold a unique and precious place in my heart Since you’ve found my profile page, I’m guessing that you must be considering the idea of giving one of my stories a go; for that I thank you sincerely. I do have just a quick request as you move down my short list of tales to choose from; please consider leaving a short review as you finish reading, they’re always appreciated. It’s been said often enough by many of the authors on the net, but its truth is astonishingly real… we all thrive on the kind words of those that read and enjoy our stories. The encouragement of others is the reason we post our creations online to begin with rather than keep them to ourselves; we love to give happiness with what we write, but we really do adore receiving some in return for our efforts! It makes it all worthwhile and inspires us to keep going.
