My Stories:

'Closer': A post-war, canon-compliant fic that covers the first year after the war in the lives of Ron and Hermione (along with glimpses of the other Harry Potter characters). They may've survived a war together, but that doesn't make the aftermath any easier to deal with, especially in the face of broken trust and questionable faith. This fic is a story of forgiveness and facing one's imperfections as the trio's friendship breaks down and the characters must decide whether or not to find their way back to one-another while learning to stand on their own two-feet. Part one in the 'There Is a Light' series (planned to span a total of five novel-length fics).

'Stop Making Sense': Part two in the 'There Is a Light' series and covering the three years following the events of 'Closer', this fic shows Ron's and Hermione's attempt to rebuild their relationship in the wake of past events and completes the trio's transition into adulthood as they deal with new careers, new living situations, and taking their romantic relationships to the next level while faced with new and old challenges, familiar faces, and the stirrings of an encroaching darkness.

'Apart': An AU take on the post-War lives of Ron and Hermione and their marriage which might not be as perfect as one would hope. Covering exactly one week in their lives in September of 2004, this fic is meant to challenge the assertions of anti-Ron/Hermione shippers who claim that their differences mean their relationship is doomed to failure and plays with the idea of how they might've turned out had they stayed their fifteen year-old selves well into adulthood. Currently on-hiatus until I can find the motivation (and angst) to finish it.

Me:

I'm your typical hard-core Harry Potter fan and Romione shipper. I'm canon-obsessed but can appreciate a good AU when done well, and prefer chaptered fics to one-shots (so if you write the latter and don't see a lot of reviews from me or your fics in my Favorites list, it's personal preference and nothing against you). I abhor character bashing and reserve the right to tell you off if you're guilty of writing it (and no, 'don't like, don't read' does not excuse you from my wrath).
