![]() Author has written 8 stories for Detective Conan/Case Closed, Digimon, Pokémon, and Alvin and the chipmunks. Ooh boy, this is going to be quite an introduction. I first joined this site around 2011 at age 13 going on 14 and I was pretty excited to write up stories. I used to have a couple of stories there for the Alvin and the Chipmunks community...but God, reading them made me cringe. The first story I wrote was a story where my Chipmunk The second one was Love Survives, which was basically Alvin flashing back to the day the Chipmunks' father was killed saving Alvin and the story ended with Alvin deciding to be there for his son to make up for the fact his father wasn't there. It...actually wasn't bad at all. Sure it didn't include Dave, and I did the (arguably) controversial decision of making it ambiguous on who was the mother of Alvin's kid. I mean, it was obviously Eleanor since I ship Alvinor but I left it ambiguous. Anyway, aside from that, it actually was decent. But I deleted that one due to a stupid reason...I thought it wasn't getting enough reviews. Death or Loneliness...Oh geez, I began writing this at late July 2011 and ended it at March 2012. So I was close to being fifteen when this was completed. Embarrassingly enough, this used to be what I considered the 'shining jewel' in my account, the pièce de résistance, my magnum opus, my masterpiece. But then, one time while reading it as an (almost) eighteen year old who just graduated and was heading off to University, who obviously learned better skills in writing in High School...I saw so many, many flaws. Let me give you the sins of it to spare you : Alvin was an edgelord who had no stable personality whatsoever (one minute he'd be arrogant and not even in the cool arrogant way he is in the show and uncaring, the next a sadistic bully, and then he'd be a nervous wreck prone to tears and wangst), the villain Janika was a Villain Sue (as in she was attractive, smart, almost God Mode invincible), Alvin fell into Designated Hero category, the other characters were reduced to damsels/dudes in distress to the point it's out of character), etc. I initially didn't delete it at first because I thought it wouldn't matter but then after less than a year I JUST couldn't stand looking at the story so I deleted it around 2016. I still have it in my docs to look at it as motivation to "How to NOT write a story". Maybe one day I'll rewrite it...I said maybe. Meanwhile, as I was finishing up Death or Loneliness, I got into Detective Conan, also known as Case Closed in the U.S. I wrote two stories there Drunk as Sin and Bittersweet. These stories are nowhere as bad as the Alvin and the Chipmunks stories I wrote, well two of them at least. There's some out of character moments for the two stories and one or two plot holes in Bittersweet, but I think I did a good job on them so they can stay here. :) I also posted a Digimon fanfic of some Taiora fluff in my senior year in high school. Since then, I've been getting into writing again slowly but surely. So stay tuned as to what I write. Hopefully, I'll come up with much, much more. :) Here are my completed works and a small retrospective summary of them. Drunk as Sin - Detective Conan story that features Conan and Ayumi drunk. The title is self-explanatory. They cause havoc and this one actually got some laughs from the reviewers. So I'm not complaining. (Date published AND completed : January 21, 2012) Bittersweet - Ah, we've done these fanfics where we kill off one character of the pair we love just to see how much angst and hurt/comfort can we get from the story. Basically, Conan dies saving Ayumi's life from a gang shoot-out and Ayumi, grief-stricken, tries to move on but...well, just read the story, particularly if you like the pair of Conan/Ayumi instead of the canon (and popular) Shinchi/Ran. A few plotholes aside, I did a good job on it, mainly since I slowly began to improve in my writing skills there. This is arguably the closest to the 'shining jewel' of my account since Death or Loneliness turned out to be nothing but a shining piece of turd that wasn't close to being a jewel...though that might change once I make more stories. We'll see. (Date published : October 13, 2012) (Date completed : May 30, 2013) SleepyHead, NudieHead - Sora finds out that Tai sleeps in the nude at times. The title should have given it away, so I don't see why I made the summary so ambiguous when there was a huge hint in the title. That self-deprecative criticism aside, I think this story still holds up for a one shot. (Date published AND completed : October 12, 2014) Hard To Say Goodbye - I finally come back to Alvin and the Chipmunks...with a one-shot where I killed Alvin Seville off under ambiguous situations and Simon, Theodore, the Chipettes, and everyone else are sad. I'm not the first...and I won't be the last...to kill off any of the Chipmunks, especially not Alvin. Hell, Alvin seems to be the perfect target for 'oh, X dies and everyone cries' fanfiction formulas here. I'm not complaining but it seems to be a trend in the fandom. I did a great job on it. (Date published AND completed : August 10, 2018) Must Have Been the Wind - Oh boy, now I can understand you guys saying : "Seriously, Sweet-SnarkingFool, a songfic?" Well, good news. It's not a song-fic. I mean you can listen to the song if you want as you read it, but there's no lyrics inserted in it. I was heavily inspired by TheNight130's The Wind Ariel & Jim ft Odette (seriously, if you love Disney/Non mash-ups check it out. ;) ). In hindsight, "Face Down" probably fits better for the story but I think it's great. (Date published AND completed : December 22, 2019) Out The Box, Out Of Line - My first 'M'-rated fanfic...and it took nine years in Fanfiction to resort to writing an 'M'-rated story. That aside, I'm proud of this little work. Got out of my comfort zone and wrote it. (Date published AND completed : April 24, 2020) Now onto my stories that are in progress and also with a bit of commentary: The Wild Boy of Alola - After two attempts of creating a story based on Tarzan in this site, I'm finally happy with this. It's not copying the script and it fits elements of Pokemon there as well. I started it in December 24, 2017 at Christmas Eve near midnight and I updated it on recently on November 5 of this year. It's at five chapters. I'm currently planning on the next chapter's direction. As mentioned, I plan to have the story have around ten chapters, give or take, though it might be a little over ten at this point. Also a little over 50 favorites?! You guys are awesome! Thanks! Livin’ On A Prayer - Taiora centric fanfic meets 80s and 90s songs. This is a very recent addition. No, don’t worry. I haven’t lost interest in The Wild Boy of Alola. As I write, I am working on the next chapter. I just wanted to do a Digimon fanfic that wasn’t a one-shot. I’m not certain how many chapters this will have. I am aiming for at least ten chapters. Regardless, I hope you Taiora fans enjoy it. So fasten your seatbelts for this bumpy ride. Future stories? Hmm...so far, I do have plans for a Digimon next-generation fanfiction involving the offspring of Tai/Sora, TK/Kari, Ken/Yolei, and a few other couples. But it's not concrete...yet. I also have plans and hopes to do a Danny Phantom fanfic (one shot or multichapter) involving Danny/Sam since it’s one of my cartoon OTPs and a few other franchises. |
