Author has written 45 stories for X-Men, Good Wife, Hunger Games, Vampire Diaries, Veronica Mars, Ultraviolet, Avengers, Orphan Black, Game of Thrones, Stargate: SG-1, Rookie Blue, Person of Interest, Dragon Age, Criminal Minds, Secret Circle, and Stargate: Atlantis. Note: My stories also appear on ArchiveOfOurOwn dot org, as well as Livejournal and Dreamwidth, unimaginatively using the same handle in each place. (Technically a more complete collection, as a mini ficlet in the Faces/Hunt/Falling/Waiting sequence exists in those places as well as an original piece.) I live in the UK and program for a living. So I've got to do something to satisfy my creative side. And, um, apparently writing fic helps relieve that need. Who knew? Although the stories are just posted in my name, I'd be remiss in not noting that I've roped in my lovely wife to beta and co-write these stories. You can probably blame her for the really funny lines. In general, I have a taste for the twisty and somewhat complex. And one day, I will write a story with a happy ending. Oh yes. (Much to my surprise, mission accomplished. Interesting Times actually has a happy ending. Or ends happily, at any rate. But then The Dating Game/Interesting Times are somewhat more light hearted than my usual work.) Maybe even this one. You never know. (This one currently being Waiting for the Storm to Break.) I'm currently writing a sequence of stories I've tentatively named Intersecting Trajectories, an X-men/Criminal Minds crossover fic mostly involving Emily Prentiss and Emma Frost. It's probably why you're here. (Unless for some reason you like my Good Wife or my Hunger Games fics. My, I seem to branching out somewhat these days.) If you like them, I've written an original fic, about the life of a witch called Mirabelle, who is possibly my happiest, bounciest, most messed up character ever. (The last quality in particular is probably a mark of some dubious distinction.) Interested parties can find it here: http:///works/269326/chapters/424398 (This is slightly old information in that I'm *relatively* certain tha Johanna in my Hunger Games fic is probably more messed up than Mirabelle. But I like the phrasing above, so I'm keeping it. Also, I can imagine Johanna getting better.) |
