I hate this story. I love this story. I hate how much you made me love this story.
Look, I can't stand ABO stories. They are just ... everything I hate. They don't have any worldbuilding, or plot, the trope is used to erase female characters left and right, and the enforced relationship dynamics really grate at my "free will" nerves.
But, I fell into shipping Jade/Tori HARD (a few years back) (look, don't judge me for how long this review took) and ... there was nothing. There were like two really amazing stories I found, and then just a desolate wasteland of unreadable nonsense. So, in desperation, I turned to the highly rated, long, Jade/Tori ABO story and ... fell in love.
Everything I can't stand about ABO stories, every part of the trope I hate? You took it and inverted it, made it into something good.
The lack of worldbuilding in other stories? There is so much here, with how the different biology affects media, with their movie nights, and the discussion of female alphas in Hollywood (and society at large).
The lack of plot? Oh ho ho, there is so much plot. I'm not generally about the explicit scenes, I'm more interested in (in every sense) the how they got there, than the actual event. I need well-developed characters with reasons to fall into bed together to be interested. Although, to be fair, those are some of the steamiest, most arousing falling-into-bed-together scenes I've ever read. And there is so much build up for their relationship, the simmer makes it so much better when they finally get there.
The erasure of female characters? That's half the plot, Tori's difficulties with her rare role.
And the other half of the plot is Jade's struggle with society's expectations, and her desire to break stereotypical gender/omega roles.
I came into this story fully prepared to hate it, but hoping for maybe one or two readable scenes. And instead, I got one of the best, most well rounded, beautiful, hottest, stories I have ever read. This story basically redeemed the entire ABO trope for me, I guess? Don't get me wrong, I'm still not likely to read any other ABO stories out there, but ... I no longer regret that the entire genre was created in the first place, since it brought us this.
I am in awe of how amazing this story is.

I love this story so much because it has a complex, non-traditional relationship between jade and tori. You, as a writer, are doing an amazing job at keeping me interested in the story chapters and I would like to say that you should keep up the good work.
