![]() Author has written 7 stories for Biker Mice From Mars. 4-4-2013 Hello Readers! I am terribly sorry about my lack of writing and reading. Mostly the writing. Since my last update, I had to get ready for my long awaited holiday to the Beautiful Land down Under to visit a very dear friend of mine (thank you FF for making that friendship possible), came back from said holiday and Life threw me a wicked curveball. My darling little black furred Muse had passed away while I was on the other side of the world. So I really didn't feel like writing after that. That was back in September, and I am still feeling a little inspired-less; getting a little better but it's going to take some time. Slowly, but surely. Life sure can suck monkey socks sometimes. So if you're reading this, you're either curious about this writer or you're wondering where I've got to. Just taking a break and suffering from a Writer's Dam (it's like a writer's block only worse). So that's why. I've been in mourning. But I think I'm ready to kick start my muse up again. So stay tuned! Write free, citizens! Gender: female Age: the roarin' 20's Height: I'm not short, I'm travel size! Location: Ohio Contact Me: PM me. Go ahead! I don't bite. Favorite Books: way too many to count, but I love, love, love anything by Terry Pratchett and Patricia Briggs, the Twilight saga, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Hobbit, my absolute favorite series is Redwall by Brian Jacques (RIP, you were taken away way too soon) Favorite Movies: X-Men, just about anything from Marvel, Lord of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean, Casablanca, Transformers, The Italian Job, Twilight saga, Van Helsing, Robin Hood: Men in Tights, The Princess Bride Favorite Shows: DOCTOR WHO!, Psych, Bones, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Dexter, The Office, Vampire Diaries, CSI (only the Vegas one), Charmed, Lost, The Big Bang Theory, Amazing Race, Top Chef Favorite Animated Shows: Biker Mice From Mars, Mighty Ducks: Animated Series, X-Men: Evolution, Gargoyles, Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, The Adventures of the Gummi Bears (if you remember this show, best Disney series EVER ), SWAT Kats, Bleach, Fullmetal Alchemist, Inuyasha Music: mostly 80's rock and Country...with a little bit of this and that thrown in About Me: I am just a girl who loves to read and who is in-tuned to her inner geek and is proud of it! If I had the free time and the money I would be a fulltime geek. But since I work weird hours and am not a millionaire, I am what I am. But one day I shall visit the geek mecca known as Comic Con, even if I must do without everything else. I did the college thing and I'm thinking of going back (hello, recession). I currently have this Biker Mice from Mars obsession. The only things I like about the new series is 1) the Bros have the same voices and 2) just the thought of more Biker Mice. Other than that. Meh. I have tons of plot ideas that have taken residence in my head, but they refuse to relocate to my computer or even paper. Hopefully my muse will be kind and you will see more of my work. It might be slow in coming. I'm just a gal trying to make her way in this big ol' world. I'm a cashier at a local grocery store. And BOY! can I tell you stories of people's stupidity...and their ignorance and lack of common sense. I have a VERY dear editor-friend on this website, iloveLuLu. Amazing Aussie girl. I would like to thank FF for being here so I could meet my bestest of besties. I think we were separated at birth...even though she's in Australia and I'm in the US. Also, I had an account on here a few years ago under a different name (Silver Harpie). The story is called A Remy LeBeau Thanksgiving. Warning: I'm not quite pleased with it now and I feel like I have matured since I wrote it. But if you feel like a laugh or are completely bored out of your mind, please, give it a read and let me know what you think. Or just give it a read and just leave it at that. Thank you no matter what. Random Quotes All the knowledge in my head weighed down the rest of me, thus I am short. (me) Listening, not imitation, may be the sincerest form of flattery. (fortune cookie) In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: it goes on. (Robert Frost) ...And then Buffy staked Edward. The End. (a shirt) Bloody Hell! Sodding, blimey, shagging, knickers, bollocks, oh God! I'm English! (Spike, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) It is kinda strange, how you keep saving the world and there's no proof. (Xander, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) For I am Xander, King of Cretins. May all lesser cretins bow before me. (Xander, Buffy the Vampire Slayer) I'm gonna charge through it like a spidermonkey (Brook, The Amazing Race 17) * Oz: We should figure out what kinda deal this is. I mean, is it a-a gathering, a shindig or a hootenanny? Cordelia: What's the difference? Oz: Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage; and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny. (Buffy the Vampire Slayer) * Jim: Last night on "Trading Spouses," there's...did you see it? Pam: No, I have a life. Jim: Interesting, what's that like? Pam: You should try it sometime. Jim: Wow. But then who would watch my tv? (The Office) * Caroline (talking to Damon about Twlight): How come you don't sparkle? Damon (reading a Twilight Saga book): Because I live in the real world where vampires burn in the sun. (Vampire Diaries, Season One) |
