In Invaders Kale and Avelya face the aftermath of following Avernus in choosing to disobey their orders to fire on the Revenant ship Jormungand. Their biggest worry is that the Elders will target their friends as punishment for their defiance, and Avernus convinces the remaining crew of the Sylph to go south to Renais to find his wife and young daughter. The voyage will be a dangerous one, with the possibility that any airship they meet will attack them as traitors. And to make matters worse a fleet from across the Withered Sea has appeared to threaten the Protectorate, and Renais is right in their path of conquest.

My 5th published work is the Young Adult Fantasy adventure Ithel's Library, Book 2 of Legacy of the Deep Gnomes. In Ithel's Library Drew struggles to make up for his previous failures by gathering pieces of the Druzagh Sidh from allies of the Watchers. He finds Yavic always one step ahead and must use all his wits and trust in his friends to succeed. Meanwhile they learn of a new enemy. Ithel, a fearsome lich whose seat of power is in the Land of the Dead where few dare trespass, who intends to use one of the Gruzk artifacts for nefarious purposes. To further complicate matters, Drew has to wonder whether they should be trying to stop Yavic at all, considering the antique hunter wants to save the world.

My 4th published work is a children's fairy tale called Firefly Girl about a brave girl named Alissa who lives in a village deep in the aspen woods of Sephron and raises fireflies for the village lanterns. When the Curse comes to her village Alissa must make a dangerous journey to reach the palace in Sephron and beg the Court Wizard for help. http:///dp/B00TDY7VYM

Recently published my 3rd book, a Young Adult fantasy adventure, on Amazon Kindle: Undying Heights, Book 1 of the Legacy of the Deep Gnomes trilogy. http:///dp/B00OHZGWO2 Undying Heights follows Drew, a high school freshman who's been picked on for the last 2 years for seeing ghosts at his Grandpa's funeral. He discovers that what he saw was a glimpse of the magical world, and that he's drawn the attention of members of that world. Now, drawn into a series of events full of danger and treachery, Drew must race to reclaim the pieces of a powerful ancient artifact that could destroy the world. Or save it.

Revenants follows Kale and Avelya east as the Sylph goes in pursuit of the landbound rebel Redhawk and his Underground, who are being helped by the Revenants. Their journey will take them to the lands of Karneth-upon-the-Seamont skyhold, at the end of the continent bordered by the majestic but deadly Withered Sea. There Kale will have to struggle between his friendship with Avelya and his loyalty to the ship, while Avelya will have to decide whether her friends are more important, or her mission to overthrow the Elders and end their tyranny over the Protectorate. And at the edge of the Withered Sea they'll discover that the greatest threat to the Sylph, and the Protectorate, is one they didn't anticipate.

Corsairs is a story about the Corsairs of the skyholds, undisputed rulers of the sky and, because of that, the ground as well. It follows the journey of Kale, an orphan rescued from the ground to be taken up to the sky. Corsairs was inspired by my love of airships and exploration, especially seeing new and amazing sights, as well as understanding how the world works and meeting new people.

I'm currently working on Invaders, Book 3 of The Protectorate.
