Well, where can I start? My name's Beth. I'm twenty seven years old. I love Monty Python, Tim Burton movies, writing stories and poetry, listening to music (my favourite band's The Magnetic Fields.) Generally, I'm a happy, cheery, quirky person with a unique sense of humour, despite my difficult life. In the past, I've been bullied and that is something I don't really want to talk about. Well, all I can say is that I've never really fully recovered. I don't know why people did this to me. I think it's because they were afraid of the learning disability that I was born with; dyspraxia. Even though the spelling looks similar, it's nothing like dyslexia. It's a very difficult to live with, but I've developed techniques to make things a little easier. It's a bit hard to explain what it is but I'll try anyway. Basically, the body doesn't do what the brain wants it to do and the brain can't register new information that well. It makes me extra clumsy and a little ditsy but it's a part of who I am and I love everything about it - even the negative points - so that's why my pen name is ProudDyspraxicWriter.
