I work building maintenance at a psychiatric facility in Georgia. Forget what you see on television: all the clients (or consumers, or whatever the word is these days) wear street clothes, are occasionally taken out on trips, participate in a hospital-based 'Special Olympics', and there isn't a single door with a barred window in the place. I fix toilets, door locks, and broken windows.

I have a BA in English. So much for the one about 'Do you want fries with that?'

I've written fics for Gatchaman, Doctor Who, and some crossovers with Due South and Dark Shadows. I plan more.

Lots of visitors to my profile and my stories. I'm not sure if I should be flattered or nervous. So, I'm going to add a little more.

My 'Gatchaman' stories are a re-imagining of the series. Berg Katse is a worthy foe with a backstory, instead of the homicidal twit of the original. I'm trying to bring out the more human side of Dr. Nambu. The series did show that he was more concerned about the people Galactor endangered than any machines or resources (when he wasn't yelling at the SNT for doing something dumb).

I find I rather like the original 'Doctor Who' in all its low-budget glory. Although I do like the David Tennant Doctor (with Donna).

There will be stories for other series that I like.
