![]() Author has written 1 story for Chronicles of Narnia. “Literature adds to reality, it does not simply describe it. It enriches the necessary competencies that daily life requires and provides; and in this respect, it irrigates the deserts that our lives have already become.” –C.S. Lewis “The difficulty of literature is not to write, but to write what you mean; not to affect your reader, but to affect him precisely as you wish.” –Robert Lewis Stevenson “Talent is helpful in writing, but guts are absolutely necessary.” –Jessamyn West “To write something, you have to risk making a fool of yourself” –Anne Rice News and Notes 7/5/11: Chapter twenty-four of The General's Daughter is finally up for all of you! I hope you all like it and please review. We only have the epilogue left in The General's Daughter, I am sad to say. I will miss it, but fear not. I have plans for a sequel! A Little About Me: I love Christ and Jesus is a big part of my life. I have loved writing and reading for as long as I can remember. My mom said that I used to be addicted to the Junie B. Jones books. So I went on a hunt to find them, and I did. I remembered how much I loved reading and how they were the first chapter books I read by myself. :D I have always done best in English in school and I am an honors student. So at first I began to write short stories (looking back they were not very good XP) I have always loved fantasy and so I discovered Narnia and other worlds. I really loved the other worlds that books created for me. My Thoughts Reviews: I adore reviews! A would like to give a quick thank you to everyone who has read or reviewed my stories! It means the world to me! I love to hear from you all and know that you are interested. Your reviews keep me going so thank you! I try to give reviews as much as possible. I give the good and the bad, I try to help others become better. OCs: OCs can make or break a story. I see that the character has to have a real purpose to be alive, not just to fall in love with a king. I try to make my OCs as realistic as possible so that they don't turn into the dreaded Mary- Sue. A well created and thought out OC can take a story to a new level. Narnia's Golden Age: This may seem almost random to you, but I think you should know what I have to say. The Golden Age was always a period in Narnia that I was interested in. I think, like many, that the Golden Age lasted longer than 15 years. Another thing that I think about is how the Golden Age became Golden.I feel that the Pevensies had to go through trials to reach what was known as the Golden Age. I like to explore AUs surrounding the Golden Age. I feel that there was such a time between the Golden Age and the Hundred Year Winter that most Narnians try to forget. It was a dark time that I always like to explore. Feel free to PM me on the subject! I would love to talk with you! ~My Story~ I have also uploaded some pictures of my OC's onto my photo-bucket which you can view here. These are the basic idea of what the characters look like. 1. The General's Daughter- Edmund is captured during the raid on Miraz's castle. He wakes up in the dungeon but finds his wounds bandaged. He forms a friendship with a strange and quiet girl who is also the general's daughter. ED/OC --in progress-- I was watching the commentary for Prince Caspian (2008) when I heard a statement about General Glozelle that sparked my imagination. The director and the actor who played Glozelle had a discussion saying that Glozelle originally died in the script but then they came to the conclusion that he could have been a good man just in the wrong place, so they allowed him to live. This may tick some of you off that a villain has survived. But they said also that he was just being a good soldier and from what he knew, he was doing the right thing. But then I began to wonder, why he stuck with Miraz throughout the war if he was supposedly a good man. Was it to protect his family? I also searched for a long time about Glozelle, it said his family was unknown giving me so the choice to do what I please.
