TO CLEAR IT UP

APPEARANCE: What with the interchanging of hands with paws and hair with head fur and such, it can be confusing as to how to picture the Jellicles. As for me, I imagine that the Jellicles appear as regular cats to humans, but to animals they're the cat-human sort, like in the musical, but not with armwarmers/tail belts. They have actual fur and moving tails.

AGE: For my fics I use the actual aging of a real cat. By one human year they are already 15 cat years old. After that their aging slows down. At two human years they are just 24, at three human years they are 28, and so on. For help on the aging of a cat refer to this extremely helpful chart: http:///cs/healthissues/a/agechart.htm

MUNGO AND RUMPLE, MATES OR SIBLINGS: They can be either or both, actually! They're cats. However, for my fics, they switch relationships for whatever seems fit for the story at hand.

ON SLASHOPHOBIA

What's the deal? I find it sorta funny when people all go EW SLASH, especially considering this is a fandom for a musical, and musicals are practically the mother of gay men. Look at your lovely cast, my friends. John Partridge is gay. Jason Gardiner is gay. Jacob Brent... bless his talented, rainbow butterfly soul. I'm not forcing you to read it, but learn to know that some people out there find their love in someone of the same gender. Heck, this is ! "Unleash your imagination". So what if cats aren't able to be gay? We imagine them as humans in fur suits which, mind you, is not exactly the most normal thing on this website (though there are less normal things). Learn to tolerate, learn to love, and say NO to homophobia!

OTHER THINGS

I'm considering putting up my own Cats fansite. I'm adequate at coding and at webdesign; I've made my share of websites before. However, this site will be focusing more on things like canon/fanon theories: relationships, histories, etc. of the Jellicles. What... fun? 8D
