Hi everyone!

My name is Sheryl Jackman and I am a huge X-Men fan! (And by that, I mean that I like the X-Men a lot, not that I am huge!) I live in the U.K. and I've been collecting X-Men comics - among others - since the early 70's, my favourite character being the feral Wolverine! The man can do no wrong, in my eyes! And he's hot!!

I have enjoyed writing ever since I was old enough to pick up a pen! I first got into fanfic with a friend - we specialised in Star Trek, inserting ourselves seamlessly into the exploits of the Enterprise D crew. (Due to an error with ranking, I was a Lieutenant Commander in charge of the Hydroponics division!) Nowadays I write mainly X-Men fics, in which my own character, Wildstar, is probably more like me than I would like to admit to! And as she shares a unique relationship with a certain feral Canadian, I am extremely envious! Goodness knows what this is doing to my sanity!

Death By Healing is my first fanfic, the first installment in a series of six stories starring Wolverine, Jubilee and my own character, Wildstar. I feel most at home with these three characters and usually focus on them exclusively, although I occasionally come out of the Kristiverse to write something more comic related - Forever Yours and Logan By Any Other Name for example. I take my inspiration from all three genres - comics, movies and the cartoons - combining elements from all three to create something familiar but not entirely canon - I simply enjoy writing about the characters I love and usually I let my pen and my heart dictate where the story is going to go. I sometimes write myself into some very strange situations ... ! X-Men/Space: 1999 crossover anyone ... ?!

I've also recently been inspired to write Rogans for the Movie side of the site. This started off as a challenge - thanks, Comic-cake! - but I am now hooked and my two current M rated Rogans - 'A Rock and a Hard Place' and 'Casualties of Love' - are still in progress! Feel free to drop by for a look!

However, my heart truly lies with the Logan and Jubilee pairings. Now if that isn't your cup of tea, that's all well and good, but I honestly believe that the feral and the firecracker were the sexiest couple in Marveldom and could have gone on to have one hell of a relationship if it hadn't been for M-day. Marvel Comics killed my dreams with that storyline and I hope to do them justice here, in a world where Jubilee never lost her powers and Logan came to realise that she meant more to him than just a daughter. Read them and weep, Marvel Comics, and think on what you have done!!
