First, a note on my icon. The screenshot I worked with was by enchanted fleur on lj. I made the graphic myself in photoshop. If you need Doctor Who screencaps, I highly recommend looking enchanted fleur up-- she's brilliant. (And while you're on lj, if you've got an account, feel free to look me up as well-- gwaithgweneth. A lot of my stuff is flocked, but my fandom stuff isn't, usually.)

Recent Developments

02-14-2013:

Due to a combination of health problems and some of my ideas being rather thoroughly jossed (that's what I get for writing about characters while their still on the show), I haven't written for awhile, but with the excitement of the 50th anniversary I might be writing more. (Which I always say, but we'll see how it goes this time). I do have a number of ideas for fics, most of them incorporating or focusing on the classic Doctors, as well as on the TARDIS.

I have a lot of stuff coming up in the next couple months, and I have actual work to do (someone's paying me to sew things! Yay!), so we'll see how much time I have--but on the other hand, one of my current health problems (back issues) necessitates a lot of time lying down with a heating pad, and writing fanfic is a fine way to pass the time.

I'm also still working on getting my original work published, which does take up some of my time (not as much as it should--I procrastinate far too much)--but all in all, I should have quite a lot of free time right up until August.

Notes on Older Fics:

09-10-2011:

Due to recent episodes totally jossing my universe, I don't know when or if I'll be up to writing 'Little Bird'. I probably will keep writing it eventually as an AU verse, because I put a lot of thought into the fanon for it when I was writing 'And Make the World of Colours'.

06-19-2011:

Deleted 'Unreal' and 'Screams', two of my older fics. Will be checking over and trying to improve my two Jake/Mickey fics, but they're probably mostly getting edited for spelling. It's been way too long since I watched their episodes for me to do any character work.

Finished 'And Make the World of Colours'. Hopefully I'll get to work on 'Little Bird' soon, as well as trying to complete my 'liquids' table.

Coming Soon:

-A series of fics about various Doctors based on some of the Major Arcana

-A multi-chapter fic involving, in some way, all of the Doctors.

-'The Many Crimes of Melody Pond' will hopefully finally continue--we'll see if my muse decides to visit.

-Sometime soon I'm going to look at that liquids table I've got waiting. I'm working on filling my Mission Insane Table with Doctor Who fanfic.

Update on Older Fanfics:

As I mention in the note below, which I am leaving for the purposes of explanation, several of my older fanfics are really poorly written and edited. Two have now been taken down, and I am in the process of editing the other two.

A Note on the Older Fanfics:

Several of my older fanfics on here are rather badly edited, and need some major revision. I intend to go back and fix them eventually, but I don't know when that'll happen-- I also don't want to take them down, because I know there are a few people who enjoyed them and have them favorited. Which is why I'm writing this acknowledging them and the fact that I have a bit of a love/hate (mostly hate) relationship with them.

Hopefully I will be posting some more newer fic soon. I'm working on getting Amy, Rory, and River's voices right, and could really use some concrit.
