Author has written 6 stories for Alex Rider, Avengers, Pride and Prejudice, Criminal Minds, Numb3rs, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., and Leverage. To start this off I should probably say that I am not really OCD and I don't own any of the characters in my stories (except the ones I invented). I love fanfiction.net because there are so many creative people that I wanted to be able to give reviews. Then I decided to give the whole writing a fanfiction a shot. I have had a lot of fun with it. I want to thank anyone who thinks my stories are any good and who have endured reading my story. I especially want to thank anyone who has reviewed (good or bad), has put me on an author alert, or has favored my writing in any way. Thanks a lot. What should I say now? I don't know but if I think of something I will save it. I appreciate my reviewers pointing out my mistakes, it is really helpful. Thank you. If there are any more problems post them in a review and I will address them here. Flames are accepted. And sorry for any mistakes, I do spell check and read through them, but I do not always catch all my mistakes. I was made aware that FBI Involved, there would be no way Alex to be able to get the degrees. I am taking some liberty there for a reason. I wanted Alex to have some degrees to make a few scenes possible but I had fun with exaggerating a bit. Plus you can get degrees in certain areas of language. Alex's uncle (with me taking the liberty) tried to get Alex as far ahead on learning as possible. So some of the degrees are because Ian had Alex so far ahead. Most of the degrees are in biology (from his time in SCORPIA), weapons (also from his time in SCORPIA), medicine (SCORPIA and personal experience), math (taught), multiple languages and cultures (you can get masters and doctors in languages/culture), fighting technique (experience (don't actually know if that is possible, but if you can get a degree in almost anything), and a few other things he picked up while spying or from his tutor (ex: physics and chemistry). I will try to remember to address that in my next chapter, but I am a spaz and may forget. This is not an accompaniment to my previous story, but I can write an accompaniment later if it ends up developing into something (which it gradually is). I have many more story ideas, and I wish I had more time to devote to writing my ideas out. Thank you again for reviewing, I appreciate the advice and criticism. I believe, since I signed up on fanfiction, my writing has improved, and it is thanks to reviewers. I will try to make my next chapter longer. For my story Fostering Secrets, I am revamping the story at this moment so for the time being, I am hoping to regularly post so as I re-write old chapters. He Hates Guns was supposed to be a one-shot and I briefly considered posting a riff on my own story, but I decided to build into the world I already created and connect a thread. So now it will be a two-shot (and depending on my motivation for a prequel, maybe more). So fingers crossed I can finish that chapter soon (I have half it written). And Pride and Protection is looking to be by far my longest (and most challenging story to date). As to the girls' accomplishments being able to speak several languages, keep in mind that they are Indo-European and predominantly romance languages. And with the exposure that they had, it would not be unusual to pick up several. Each of them is brilliant in a different way (as will be revealed later). Their "traditional accomplishments" are not extraordinary, they are proficient and enough to gain access to the first circles. But their secondary accomplishments (primarily Jane and Elizabeth) are where their true gifts lie. The rest are there so they may fit in with society. If you want to beta anything, let me know and I can send you things I have. Or if you have ideas, let me know, I am open to suggestions. Thanks for stopping by. |
