![]() Author has written 8 stories for Legend of Zelda, Nightmare Before Christmas, Gargoyles, and Transformers. Name: Alicia (but you can call me Gamegirl) Age: 24 About me: Hello, fellow readers and writers! I'm a friendly American woman and love to meet new people. I recently graduated from Valparaiso University with a degree in English and am pursuing my dream of one day becoming a copy editor. In the mean time, I am a full-time customer service representative for a printing company, a full-time book reviewer for , and a full-time nerd 24/7. Welcome to my humble abode. Daydreamers are welcome, for I am one, as well. My imagination runs wild through my stories. Check out my stories if you are interested and just enjoy yourself on this wonderful site! Always keep the wheels turning, people, for this would be an extremely dull reality if there was no imagination to liven it up every once in a while. :) What I Love: my Savior, my family, writing, my imagination, tornadoes, dragons, panda bears, driving fast through dips in the road, falling asleep to the sound of rain and distant thunder, inspirational sayings/ quotes, the sound of deep voices (namely Optimus Prime and Liam Neeson), spring and fall, non-reality based material, listening to George Winston during a thunderstorm, the sound of crunching fall leaves, straw dispensers at movie theaters, the popping sound from the cork of a new bottle of wine Transformers: Transformers has been a big part of my life for the past 8 years. It all began in 2007 when Michael Bay's live-action Transformers movie was released. After I watched his movie, I couldn't get enough of it! I wanted to go to the theater every day just to go see that movie! I then started to watch the original 1980s show. Sure, it was really hard to watch the cheesiness of the 80s at first, but once you get past that, it's an amazing show! I've now seen the G1 series, Armada, Energon, Cybertron, Robots in Disguise, Beast Wars, Beast Machines, Animated, and Prime. I only live about an hour away from Chicago, so it was great seeing familiar landmarks in Transformers: Dark of the Moon. I, also, tried out to be an extra for Transformers 3... they never called me back, but I did get to see the Hollywood set, twice! The second time I went, I was about 20 feet away from Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley (and her stunt double), and Michael Bay! No Optimus, but it was still awesome!!! I did, however, get to meet the magnificent man behind the voice of Optimus. Yes... I MET PETER CULLEN!!!!!!! For only spending a day there, Botcon was amazing and I recommend it to any Transformer fan. As for Peter Cullen, only 140 people could see him on the day that I went and I was number 67! I got an autograph and a picture and I even got to give him a hug. Yay, quote time! Gotta have it, gotta love it! "Some people see things as they are and ask why? Others dream things that never were and ask why not?" George Bernard Shaw "Close your eyes, open your heart, imagine the impossible" Anonymous "If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated me first. If you belonged to the world, it would love you as its own. As it is, you do not belong to the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. That is why the world hates you... If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also..." John 15:18-20 "For a human being, you make one heck of an Autobot." Prowl; G1 Transformers episode "Roll For It" "Stuff your eyes with wonder... live as if you'd drop dead in ten seconds. See the world. It's more fantastic than any dream made or paid for in factories." Ray Bradbury; "Fahrenheit 451" "Everything has been said before. There's nothing new to write about - always the same old things, the same old lies and the same old loves and the same old tragedy and joy. But you can write about them in a new way, your own way." Eugene O' Neill "A #2 pencil and a dream can take you anywhere." Joyce A. Myers "There are two ways of spreading light - to be the candle or the mirror that reflects it." Edith Wharton "Is that good or bad?"/ "Bumblebee, we're locked inside an enemy prison, surrounded by countless Decepticons bent on our destruction."/ "So, it is bad."/ "It's purely a matter of perspective." Bumblebee and Optimus; Transformers: War for Cybertron "The written word is all that stands between memory and oblivion. Without books as our anchors, we are cast adrift, neither teaching nor learning. They are windows on the past, mirrors on the present, and prisms reflecting all possible futures. Books are lighthouses erected in the dark sea of time." Jeffery Robins; Gargoyles "Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today." James Dean "If looking back hurts you, and looking forward scares you, then look beside you and I'll always be here for you." Anonymous "I haven't failed, I've found 10,000 ways that don't work." Benjamin Franklin "I am your father's, brother's, nephew's, cousin's former roommate."/ "What does that make us?"/ "Absolutely nothing."
