![]() Author has written 3 stories for Avatar: Last Airbender. Hi there! Not quite sure what to put here, but I'll just post something. You did click on my profile, after all. I'm 20, a guy, German, and studying linguistics in Berlin. I speak German, English, and Chinese. Languages are one of the things I really like. Next to languages, my interests are writing essays, playing and designing RPGs, Magic: the Gathering, martial arts, and drawing every now and then. I've been following this handful of hobbies for several years, never digressing much, so I guess you can say that I'm pretty focused on what I like. Another thing I like is 'Avatar: the last Airbender'. I stumbled across it almost by accident, and the show immediately sucked me in. I love everything about it: the colorful characters, the Asian-themed world, the martial arts and bending, and the story and plot. I'm a big fan of the show, and while I've been pretty active on (ASN), and have written numerous episode reviews, I've never come around to creating something artistic for it. So I've decided to try my hand at drawing fanart and writing fanfics. I've tried to write fiction a handful of times over the last couple of years, but my ideas always ran ahead of my writing speed, which meant that I had so much plot to fill many chapters, but not enough detail to actually flesh each chapter out. So now I'm giving it a new try, and starting slowly, with drabbles and small ideas, before moving onto bigger projects. Even though I'm already in the process of writing two separate fanfics, with a third one spooking around in my head. Most of my fanfics, perhaps even all of them, will, for the time being, be of 'Avatar'. I'm stuck up in that world for now, and until I'll have been able to have distanced myself, I probably won't get into any other fandom enough to write fanfiction about it. The show has ended, yes, but I have only watched the finale three days ago, on September 21st. Which means that I'll hopefully crank out some fanfiction to get me past this emotional turmoil I'm in right now. Oh, and the finale was epic, beautiful, and a perfect ending for the show. And my Avatar (the image, not the show) is the symbol of Torment from the RPG 'Planescape: Torment' by Black Isle, the best RPG ever. Play it. Now. So much for now. Qi |
