I'm far more comfortable writing about someone else than about myself but this page needs something on it so here goes...

I'm a 47 year old mother of two teenagers and I had no idea what I was in for when I let them talk me into watching Smallville. Now I love the show and own all the DVDs etc... Tom Welling has a lot to do with this (Actually, everything to do with this) The entire cast is amazing, the camera work is beautiful, the music is great but for me it all comes down to Tom and his portrayal of Clark Kent.

I've been a Superman fan since I was old enough to pretend to be his dog, Krypto, while my older brothers were Superman, Batman and Flash. Hey, when you're that young they don't give you a speaking part! I read the comics whenever I could sneak into their room and grab one but it took Smallville and Tom to make me a Clark Kent fan.

I haven't written a thing since High School but I decided to give it a shot when I couldn't stand watching Clark be miserable anymore. The writers seem to like to torture him and I wanted to see him smile sometimes so I put him in my own story. Once I started writing I couldn't stop. I welcome constructive criticism and of course encouragement is always nice. I want to become a better writer.

By the way, I'm Dyslexic so sometimes a mistake will slip through. (sorry) But I try to edit and proof very carefully. I write with a dictionary by my side and my spell check on. I also read it out loud to my kids before I post it.

I'm currently working on an original book that I can actually submit to a publisher some day. It may never be published but it sure is fun to try.
