Author has written 1 story for Sherlock Holmes. "They plunged through heavy walls of sound, mountains of archaic thought, valleys of mood music, bad shoe sessions and footling bats..." — The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Name: Bixby the Footling Bat, or Bixby or Bix for short Age: Twenty-four Gender: Female Interests: Old books, eighties movies, writing, singing in the car, Sherlock Holmes, cooking, making fun of myself, England, weird or unlovable animals, Jeeves and Wooster, video games, science, long words, Douglas Adams, classical music, reading the dictionary, making people laugh Let's see, what's new? I'll tell you what's new: I actually updated! I feel like an absolute schmuck for ignoring my story for so long, especially as there were people who were actually enjoying it. As you probably guessed — sorry, deduced — I couldn't ignore it completely. It haunted me, much like Holmes himself might, nagging me to get over myself and write already. Sure, I could try and deceive myself into thinking I had more important things to do, but when you come right down to it, writing is who I am. It may not be my job, but it's my life. So there you have it! As always, I owe everything to the incredibly kind readers who review my work. There is nothing like that warm fuzzy feeling you get when you realize that maybe your writing is making someone's day. Or at the very least, their hour. |
