~Estrella~

First three name letters: Mel. What it most likely stands for is for me to know and for you to find out. ;)

Birthday: April Fool's Day. Seriously.

Interests: Literature, writing, acting, singing, Invader ZIM, Squee, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, The Nightmare Before Christmas, Edward Scissorhands, Final Fantasy VII, Kingdom Hearts, hanging out with my friends, making people laugh, and being myself.

Cool People Who Influenced My Brain: R.L. Stine, Stephen King, Ernest Hemingway, Mitch Albom, Douglas Adams, Tim Burton, Danny Elfman, Green Day (Billie Joe Armstrong, Mike Dirnt, and Tre Cool), No Doubt (Eric and Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Tom Dumont, and Adrian Young), Jhonen Vasquez, Hayao Miyazaki, Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez, and Sandra Cisneros. They are all amazing storytellers through writing, art, music, or any medium they choose.

Where the Hell have I been? Two places: College and Grad. School. Now I'm working. And wouldn't you know, work gives me more time than school ever did. Fancy that.

Nothing Ever Turns Out Like It Should- Finished!

Jack's Training Days- It saddens me to say this, but this story is on hiatus due to a killer case of Writer's Block concerning it. It may or may not be finished one day, or there may be a surprise in store for all of you. (Canceled? Mayhaps)

Chain of Fools- Continuing research for this story, so it won't post yet. My apologies for all expecting it. To refresh plot memory: Lock, Shock, and Barrel are sick of following the rules in Halloween Town, so they decide to do some inter-world exploring of their own. They come across the April Fool himself, who decides to "help" them. Just what kind of help can he provide? Is he sinister, or is he just pulling everyone's leg?

Lost Soul- Mary Callahan died recently. In her youth, she had lost someone very important to her. Now, she pledges to find him and spend her afterlife with him. However, her love has found another, and that has made Mary very angry. With the help of a certain deity, Mary will get him back, no matter what the price is. (Uh-oh...)

All the stories above are for The Nightmare Before Christmas fandom.

The following stories can be found in Crossovers, if and when I actually write them.

Edward's Soul
Fandoms Crossed: The Nightmare Before Christmas and Edward Scissorhands
Plot so far: Edward diligently sheared hedges for the rest of his days, until the one day he never woke up. Since he was made from machines, did Edward have a soul? More importantly, if he did, where did it go if not to Heaven, Hell, or Purgatory? What does the afterlife have in store for someone less than man but so much more than machine?

Spooky Doom- Re-edited and so much better.

Ghost with the Most
Fandoms Crossed: The Nightmare Before Christmas and Beetle Juice
Plot so far: Jack wakes up one morning feeling stranger than usual- he can't remember a thing he did the night before. It must have been something pretty bad, because now there's an odd, semi-dead bio-exorcist on his door telling Jack that he has to scare more people in the world than him or else Halloween Town will have a new king. Does he have what it takes? (Need to watch more Beetlejuice)
I've been having lots of ideas for this story lately and it just might come up next.
