It's actually just one weirdo who's mad my sister banned one of their many socks from her forum over thinking racial slurs were hilarious and now they're taking it out on everyone. If you block the accounts she'll still try to annoy you by leaving an anon review or two but at least she won't leave five signed-in reviews shouting about everything but your actual story. Please be aware that I don't get notified if you reply to my review with a review of your own. If you want to talk to me about a review, please reply to the review (using the dialogue bubble symbol in the reviews list). This automatically provides a link to the review that I can reference. Otherwise, I may not know what you are talking about. Similarly, be aware that I can't read PMs from people who block me. If you want me to read what you're sending me, don't block me immediately after.

Relatedly, the review section is not your IM client. Guest reviews that have nothing to do with the story will be deleted. You can use the review section to yell at me, but you have to say something about the story too or I'm not giving you publicity.

If my review is critical, please understand I'm not trying to flame you or anything. Any criticism is honestly an attempt at pointing out problems I had that I think could be improved. I don't use the "praise sandwich" method, because I feel that it creates a situation where you can never be sure if any praise is true or not. If I say I liked something, I really did! Because of this, I will try to be as polite as possible, but I will not sugarcoat anything. On the upside, this means that if I don't mention something at all, it wasn't that I hated it but couldn't think of a positive to bring up at the same time.

If you do choose to take my advice I will be glad, but you don't have to feel like I'm making demands of you. I usually try to point out things that could help with future stories, so they can be useful even without the author editing the current story.

And yes, I'm aware that I'm using some of Farla's autocorrect paragraphs (though some are modified). If you have a problem with this, I invite you to do as I do and review every fic in the category for multiple days straight. Show me how it's done! Give those poor, beleaguered authors the specialized attention they deserve! We can discuss methods afterward.
