If you're taking the time to read my profile, thank you! You're in the minority ;). Anyway, a little explanation for why I am once again active on this website. Well, I'm about three chapters away from finishing my original novel (that I've been working on for more than a year now). A few weeks ago, the closer I got to finishing, the more I started to feel my insecurities popping up. I've finished one or two novels in the past already which I've tried to publish, but all I've ever gotten is rejections. A lot of rejections. It happens to practically every new and upcoming author out there.

That's where you guys come in.

Reviews on this website mean to me that some people out there are willing (and want) to read what I write. Which means that, if I keep trying, an agent will want to pick up my story, and then a publisher from them. So, as much as I feel like I'm bartering for reviews right now, I want you to know how much they help. Just that little confidence boost could give me the drive I need to publish.
