Good Lord, has it been a while.

Long story short, I've been busy with life in general. I've gone to animation college, graduated, and I'm now trying to embark into the world of freelancing, while working part time at a cruddy retail store. Nothing spectacular.

I've deleted some of my fanfiction, mainly because they were stories I would never finish, or I've just lost interest in. However, I do still dabble on fanfiction when I feel like it, and when I have time. I'm 26 now, I have a 'life', so stuff like fanfiction is only something I do when I have some free time.

In fact, I've started a new EEnE crossover fic the other day, just for kicks and giggles. Man, I look back at the 'FFeds' fic I did and I can't believe how bad it was. Sorry, I know it got a ton of hits, but come on people, it was bad. Mary Sue to the extreme and SO long. I really don't know why so many people read it. :/ Still, at the time, I had fun writing it, so I guess that was the main point.

I'm not going to reveal what the other half of the new crossover will be, but it's something I've been into for nearly ten years, and I thought it would be fun to do a 'what if' type of crossover with EEnE and it. Meaning the Eds are not 'sucked into a world' and all that, but they are already part of it. It makes for some fun character writing.

Ed was sweating and panting for breath by the time he reached the big house at the end of the road. He burst through the double front doors.

“Here I am! Ed!”

There was no one to greet him; just a large room with a secondary floor and many doors leading to who knows where. The interior was decked in chrome and other metal trimmings. There were some plants in the corners, which helped liven up the room a little. At the end of the room was a long hallway, which Ed started to head down.

“Hello?” His voice echoed in the hallway, given a little chill down his spine. The hall seemed to go on forever. At last, he reached the end, which was another double door. He decided to open it. It was the lab's back door, which lead out to the spacious backyard, full of open fields and ponds.

And Pokemon. Dozens and dozens of pokemon!

Ed was suddenly besides himself. He has never seen so many pokemon at once. He made a girlish squeal and a goofy grin. His eyes sparkled at the sight.

He was about ready to leap into the scene when a voice from behind stopped him from doing so.

“So there you are! I was beginning to think you didn't want to start today.”

Ed spun around and was face to face with the owner of the lab; Professor Birch. He was a bulky looking man, known for his laid back attitude and wearing shorts with his lab coat. He was more out going then the other Pokemon Professors in the regions.

“I overslept!”, Ed exclaimed. “I still want to go on a journey! I still want to! Ed want it!”

“Okay, okay!”, Birch said, with a smile. “It's okay, Ed. I can tell you're eager to start. But I'm afraid you don't have much of a choice for a starter pokemon. There is only one left. The other two children came by earlier and took their pick.”

Ed gave out a whimper.

“That's what you get for oversleeping.” Birch added. “But look on that bright side; you'll be meeting all sorts of pokemon along the way. I'm sure you'll have a full team in no time, if you put your heart into it.”

That comment helped to lighten Ed's spirits. “Oooh boy, oh boy! Where is my pokemon, Mr. Professor?”

Birch reached into his lab coat pocket and revealed a single pokeball. “Right here.” Without another word, he tossed the ball into the air, signaling the creature inside to come out and introduce itself. The ball popped open, and with a bright light, Ed's pokemon appeared before his eyes.

Yeah, it's EEnExPokemon. I know it's been done already, but this idea has been poking around in my head for a while now. I'm a old time pokemon fan, ever since generation I, and just picked up the new Pokemon Black. I don't care what other people say, I still like it. (If anyone would like to battle me via DS WiFi, email me. ;))

The first chapter of the fic is about half way done. I have a basic plot for it, but that's about it. It's just for fun. And also, I'm open to feedback. Let know what you think, even if you hate it. I want to hear it, good and bad.
