People, especially the Narutards like me, like to go on about their favorite pairings. Avatards also do this. Also, they like to go on about their favorite character and most hated character. While, I do have a favorite Naruto character (Rock Lee!), I have no particular dislike for any character, even they somehow got in the way of the only near sensical good looking yaoi pairing in the show (I look at you, Sakura haters)(Don't even get me started on the other reason people seem to have a beef with her), or are traitorous dicks who get power ups every five panels (I look at you, Sasuke haters), or are unnatractive (I look at you, Lee haters). I also have no particular leaning toward any parings, although I like them to make sense. I don't even mind yaoi all that much (As a straight guy, I obviously like my yuri), as long as it makes sense, or as much sense as two guys who have not shown even the slightest hint of being gay suddenly boning each other can be. Or is Haku. Haku makes everything better.

Update: So I started yet another Naruto fanfic which will hopefully more coherent than my first. GB will likely continue updating but I'm thinking GoD has died. I like how that sounds like I'm saying God has died.
