HELLO!

My name is Rachel, and I have a recently-developed obsession with FanFiction.

To be more specific...

I have an obsession with Fairy Tail FanFiction. I love Mashima's characters so much, seeing them doing so many different things and all the different possibilities is wonderful. I like writing, and I always have, but I came on here primarily to read.

And read I have. I have probably read, or started to read, every fairy tail fanfic created in the last two years. I'm only a little ashamed to admit that (and even then, just due to the sheer volume of sleep I have lost getting caught up in the crazy Fairy Tail universe).

But...

Somehow, I ran out of stories to read, and I still had these ideas stuck in my head. Things I wanted to see Lucy Heartfilia accomplish, or events I wanted Natsu Dragneel to attend, or worlds that I wanted Erza Scarlett and Gray Fullbuster to fall into the middle of. So, I write.

I write the stories I want to read.

And if you like those stories too? I'm so glad. I love that you like my ideas as much as I do.

If you don't like my ideas? Okay! That's fine! Nobody expected me to come out and be a FanFiction/Archive superstar (least of all myself), so I totally understand. Feel free to point out if I've done something dumb, that's totally okay! Review, Comment, Private Message me - that's all good.

Because I'm not here to claim that I'm perfect. Or, to be quite frank, to please all my readers. Giving you quality content is just a happy by-product of my main goal - to get quality stories out of my head because they don't exist yet, and I want to read them.

So. I hope you enjoy the stories that have gotten me so excited that I had to pour them from my own messed-up brain and onto the internet.

Oh - and also - I love all of you. My readers. Just because I'm not here primarily for you, doesn't mean I don't appreciate every view, every follow, every review. Because I really, really do. And I'm so glad that you were able to find enjoyment in the stories that I myself am so excited about!

Okay, now that my introduction is done, here's some more specifics:

What I write?

Well, let's first start off by giving credit where credit is due.

- I write Fairy Tail. Exclusively (for now). Fairy Tail belongs to Hiro Mashima.

- Upon reading other fanfics, I found myself quickly and irrevocably in love with the Pradesh Family, so they find their way into most all of my stories. The Pradesh Family and the whole Boscan culture belongs to Desna. It is only by her permission that I am even able to use them, and I am grateful she has allowed it.

- I have worked alone for a long time, but finally, after searching for so long, have found a Beta that can keep up with my odd, disjointed pace and loves me anyway. Any success in my later stories is at least partly (or mostly) to do with her and her feedback. GoddessxNyte2 - you're my hero.

When do I write?

- Schedules... eh. It doesn't really work for me right now, muses are fighting me tooth and nail and so is my busy life at the moment but I'm going to start posting again... bear with me.

What's the status on my current stories, or future projects?

- Chasing the Fallen Star: This is my first (I know, it's a rewrite, but that other one didn't count. It was awful) fanfiction, and the one closest to my heart. We are now probably 2/3rds of the way to the end, but I'm considering a... Part 2... for a different set of plot points with the same characters and development

- Assumptions: This is a one-shot... kind of. It was a one-shot, but then I added a second chapter. I thought that was the end, but alas... I have a few more ideas rolling around in my chaotic mess of a brain that at some point I may add to it. Even so, it's just fluff, nothing crazy, no full plot or anything. So - feel free to read it when you need a break from the other sad, emotional nonsense I throw your way.

- Major Problems: A story I typed up and threw on here because it got stuck in my head, that I then felt obligated to continue because I got wonderful feedback (thanks for that, by the way). It's not even close to being done, but updates will be regular. Expect the chapters to be shorter than my other work, at least until my main multi-chapter fic is completed. I promise I haven't forgotten about it but I need to flesh out some of my thoughts before I publish the next chapter. Please be patient.

- CoLu Week 2019: It's done! Yay! I had pretty decent feedback, too, so thank you :)

- Honest to Mavis, 'Best' 'Friends': This is a collab piece I'm working on with Redfoxed (who is awesome, check her out) and it is posted on her page. Go there, do it a read, and drop us a review. We are craving feedback on that one right now.

- Ask the Stars, And You Shall Receive: This is, wait for it... my request piece. Yes. I am taking requests. It's not posted yet here on ffnet yet but it's up on Archive, and I'll be posting here soon. The basic premise is this - you drop a review with the ship (if there is one) plus a prompt word, then I drop a chapter that fulfills that request, then you review and tell me how much you love (or hate) it, and we start all over again. :) I need a pallet cleanser for some of the deeper content, and the fluffiness that comes from one-shots helps fulfill that role.
