Author has written 17 stories for Suikoden, Kyo kara Maoh!/今日からマ王!, Air Gear, X/1999, Yellow, Antique Bakery, Firefly, Honey and Clover, and Mass Effect. I'm a college Design major who enjoys writing, but I would not go as far as saying it's a missed calling in life or anything of that nature. I don't really believe myself to be any good. I'm still trying to get to a point where I'm comfortable with the work I put out. In the mean time, I guess you could say I'm a masochist. The work below is only some of my more recent output; this isn't my first turn at fanfiction. I've been at it since the end of 2001/the beginning of 2002, but I can't remember the password to my old account. Not that it matters because all my old work is trash. The only other place you'll find it is my writing LJ. My LiveJournal is the best place to be kept up-to-date on my writing. Please friend 'sachi', my writing journal, if you like what you read and have an LJ account. LJ is the place where I post my writings first. People watching that account also have the benefit of being able to read my works-in-progress and some of my original fiction, as well as suggesting scenarios and prompts they'd like to see me try my hand at. I do not, however, write fics upon request. My inspiration is too unpredictable. Although I do post some non-graphic sexual content here under the 'M' rating, my extremely sexually explicit content is over at FicWad. The address is http:///viewuser.php?uid=33052 and you'll have to be logged in to a FicWad account to see its contents. The only other place to get the porn is at my writing LJ. You'll need to friend the account because the NC-17 material is f-locked. As you can see, I haven't written too many fics, but given how little free time I have, I find it quite amazing that I've even been able to write this much -- most of this having been written in the past half year or so. I hope to double the number of fics I write in 2007, but we'll see what happens. Right now, I'm signed up for 25 hours' worth of classes, which doesn't even include the minimum 4-5 hours I spend in the studio every day outside of classtime. I also have a job. I average about 3 hours of sleep a night. It's a miracle I have any time to write at all, so don't bug me about writing more. If you hadn't noticed, I'm detailed and slow-paced and long-winded in my writing. The average length of my fanfics is over 3,000 words. Being concise and saying a lot with very few words is an art I do not pretend to possess. If anything, I'm probably the opposite; I use a lot of words and often say very little. If you don't like reading longer fics, save yourself the torture and don't read mine. If you do, don't say I didn't warn you. I believe in creative spontaneity and despise revising and editing. Aside from basic proofreading, I don't bother to carefully go back and edit my fics after the first draft. I don't usually bother with betas unless I'm having particular difficulty or if it's for a fic exchange I am participating in. In general, though, my fics are basically word vomit. Please bear this in mind. Although I write mainly for personal amusement and creative fulfillment, and not to please my readers, I do try to work to better my writing as I go. On that note, constructive criticism is always appreciated, but flames are not. I'm always trying to improve as a writer, so that hopefully you'll enjoy reading what I write more too. But if you're not going to be constructive, then I can't work on improving, and you just look immature. That's how I see it, anyway. Lastly, I don't put disclaimers on my fics because I think the use of the term "fanfiction" speaks for itself. I am fully aware that I do not own these characters, and I am not making any money off any of this. Get off my case. |
