This is the single most AMAZING betrayal arc based fic I've ever read.

I feel that something like this should have happened in the series proper, because things were resolved far too quickly.

Yuuri seems to be more or less Conrad's reason for living. His whole morality seems to be based around what is best for Yuuri. Yuuri is quite obviously the most important thing in Conrad's world

I do not believe that Conrad would forgive himself for his betrayal as quickly as he did.

Yuuri forgiving Conrad immediately was in character, because he is the single most forgiving person on the planet. However, Conrad forgiving himself? Not that fast...

You successfully showed all of this in this story.

I can not possibly put into words how in character both of them were.

Anyways, all I can say is that this is one of my all time favorite Kyou Kara Maou stories EVER.

This is honestly the scene that I always thought was NEEDED in the series. If nothing else, I wanted it in there- my heart always aches whenever I watch the Betrayal Arc. But this was a brilliant gem; you characterized both Yuuri and Conrad realistically, and the dialogue was so SWEET and ANGSTY. In a way, this almost personifies their relationship. I also loved the line where Yuuri kneeled down, and thought that their roles seemed to have revearsed. That seems completely true, seeing as Yuuri was in so much pain but trying to comfort Conrad all the while... geez, how many times as Conrad done that for him? -pauses to watch episode 27-

That was WONDERFUL! I adore this fic! It was so beautiful and they're so in character and the pairing is so sweet and I really feel for them and I am moved by the angst and I can see this happening in the story and it was so perfect and everything!

Wow, I commend you on how well you were able to write in present-tense for this! I didn't even notice that it was IN present-tense until near the middle! (Which means it was very well put, hmm?)

As well, I love the anticipation you build up in your readers as yuuri walks toward conrad's room! You sure stalled for long enough talking about the candle's flames -.-'

I admire your attempt at phrasing it all in present tense, but to be honest, I think past tense would have been a lot better xD (Not saying you didn't do a wondrous job of it though!)

This is such a freaking good fic :) The characters are so well done and it's so believable- if only it had been part of the series D: Love this fic though

just like your other two fics, the Conrad you wrote is very, very IC that it made my heart ache... T.T

...i just confirmed the fact that anithing that is ConYuu must has at least an inkling of angst. if not, a whole lot of 'em. uhuh. [nods to self] but it's kinda heartbreaking to think that their love is not to be, cos Yuuri is already bethroted, and that person he's engaged with is Conrad's own brother.

but really, Conrad could never be honest with himself, could he? always being the selfless one that he is, it must have been mentally exhausting to be him, no? [smile]
