In Times of War is set loosely a year and a half after the death of our beloved ex-headmaster. Hermione finds herself in the first huge battle of what is now known as the "Second War."

Before she knows it, her world is turned upside down, and everything she once knew is completely different than she remembers. She is assigned various tasks by the Order of the Phoenix. Can she, with a little help from a certain Potion's Master, help to rid the world of the ultimate enemy?
