Hello fellow fanfiction addicts!

My name is Adrienne and I once read that it means dark, rich, and creative. I don't think I yet qualify for the second one, but definitely the other two. Anyways I was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania (GO STEELERS! :D), but at the moment I'm living in Ohio. Unfortunately. :(

As far as fanfiction goes, I write about the Potterverse. Snape and Lucius, followed at a close second by Remus are my favorite HP characters. :D I also really like Hermione and Harry. I hate Ron and Ginny. As far as "normal" fiction goes I'm a huge fan of historical romance and fantasy. Any book gets really high bonus points if it somehow manages to be a historical romance and a fantasy, but I haven't found too many of those. My favorite historical time period is England before, during, and after the Napoleonic Wars. One of my favorite genres of romance is gay romance. There are some incredibly well written novels that I've come across and most of them are actually written by women.

My favorite authors are Simon R. Green, Naomi Novik, Gaelen Foley, Lee Rowan, Erastes, and Manna Francis.

I love European music. Even though I'm American I don't listen to any popular American music at all. My favorite genre of music is German industrial/metal. I also listen to music from Scandinavia, Russia, Croatia, and Bulgaria. I also love really good film scores and movie trailer music.

I love animated movies, especially in foreign languages. The Lion King is my favorite animated movie. I like kitties, okay? I also like Balto, Anastasia, The Road to El Dorado, Treasure Planet, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Watership Down, Felidae, The Secret of NIMH, The Last Unicorn, and Ferngully: The Last Rainforest.

For non-animated movies I like the first PotC, the HP movies, Original Sin, The Libertine, Gladiator, Sweeney Todd, The Adventures of Priscilla: Queen of the Desert, and The Full Monty.

For TV shows I like Buffy, Dante's Cove, BBC's Richard Sharpe series starring Sean Bean, and Grey's Anatomy.

I enjoy drawing and digital art, riding horses and playing with my cat. She's very vocal and can actually meow in sentences. At some point I'd love to get it on tape and put it on Youtube. She can even make herself sound like she's asking a question. Bella can also play fetch better than a dog.

I completed my first original novel manuscript this year and I'm starting the process of getting it published. It's an original m/m romance/fantasy where two men get pulled into a war between a god and goddess. I have my own race of elf-like beings, magic horses, and demons. I'm beginning to plan the sequel.
