Author has written 2 stories for Kingdom Hearts, and Final Fantasy XII. Hello! Welcome to my profile! Before sending me a PM regarding a review: Please read the section titled "Reviews" and the sections that follow. It would be appreciated, and perhaps save time on both our parts. Help with Finding Stories/OCs I just started a forum that will help authors find missing stories, put fics up for adoption, and help authors in need of OCs. Hopefully this can help keep some of the non-story posts off the site, and help authors in need. Please check it out if you're interested: Kpop: I just started a forum about Kpop, so if you are interested, please drop by! It's still in the beginning stages, but hopefully the Kpop fans on this site can get together and share our love of Korean music! Please read the rules before posting. Updates: I am still trying to get myself into the swing of updating more regularly. It's a slow, and painful struggle... What will become of "Muddled Lines?" I doubt I'll finish it. Let's just not talk about that one, hm? Since you bothered to visit, here is a little bit about me: Favorite Pairings Riku/Sora Cloud/Leon Marluxia/Zexion Seymour/Tidus Marth/Zelda Balthier/Fran Athrun/Cagalli This list is by no means exhaustive. ;) I Don't Care For: I don't care for OC's. To expand, I'll say this: I don't care for OC's that are main parts of the plot. Just to be clear, teachers, parents, and other nameless characters don't bother me. Naturally this is just my opinion, but that's how I feel. ;) It has nothing to do with me reviewing/reporting "Submit Your Own Character" posts. It's just an unfortunate coincidence. Reviews: I love leaving reviews. I also take review requests. Predictably, you'll get a better review if I'm familiar with the series, but it is by no means a requirement. I try to leave well rounded con-crit. I prefer this option over flaming, so please don't confuse the two. I don't need to use flames to get my point across. ;) For the most part, reviews are opinions. There really is no need to start petty Internet fights over a ship war or something arbitrary. Not everyone has the same opinion. That being said: Read the rules! This seems to be a huge problem here. I don't know why. They're not unreasonable, or challenging. "I see other people breaking the rules too" and "What harm does it do?" are not excuses for not following them. When you sign up for this site and start posting, you agree to follow them. By doing so, you agree to getting reported if you don't. Myself, and many other readers are tired of scrolling through thousands of stories to find quality fics without rule violations. It's annoying, and disrespectful to the site you do not have to pay to use. If you violate the rules, most often I leave my comments as reviews (reviews are noticed more). I like to converse with authors before I report them so they have a chance to fix it before I have to take that step. I won't report you unless I get some indication that you don't intend to fix your violation. This includes an excessive amount of time for fixing it, or a reply of some sort. Just as a heads up, even if you block someone, they can still report you. Apparently this isn't a well known fact... Check your grammar! A few mistakes here and there are excusable. We're human. It just irks me when people make excuses for their poor command of the English language. "I was tired when I wrote this," or "English isn't my first language" are not excuses. Beta Readers can help if you need it. Find one you like, and fix the problem. Naturally, accidental grammar errors are not rule violations. The excuses are just a pet peeve. I don't recall ever reporting someone for unintentional grammar errors. How did you find my story? What about other authors who violate the rules? Why haven't they been reported? I'm putting this here because I get this question quite a bit. I don't target authors. I don't have time to bully or troll. I frequent the "Just In" section, so I often run across rule breakers who are not in my usual fandoms. Sometimes I'm tipped off by other authors. It would be a hearty challenge to find all the rule violations on this site, so naturally there will be fanfics that go unreported. If you notice someone is breaking the rules, you can, of course extend a message of warning as well. It gives authors the chance to fix their mistakes before they are deleted by the admins, or reported by someone else. For all other concerns, feel free to PM me.* It's much more mature and effective than flaming my stories because you didn't like a review I sent you. If you have an issue with my story, that's fine. Put it in the review, otherwise, send me a PM. You're just a rule Nazi! Take. A. History. Course. This makes me want to bang my head against a wall. Just because I adhere to the rules and expect others to follow the rules does not mean I'm a fascist, and/or support Hitler's ideas. Using the term "Nazi" so freely just to express your dissatisfaction with my choice to follow the rules is another sign of immaturity. Using a word that signifies hatred for so many people in such a pithy manner just downplays its significance in history, and it's insulting to those who actually suffered because of their ethnocentrism. *As an addendum for PMing me: If you're going to rant at me in a capslock curse filled rage, I suggest taking a deep breath and re-thinking that action. If you're old enough to be on this site, you should be capable of responding to something negative like a mature individual. This is the internet, so no, threats, curse words, and flippant comments about how I spend my free time don't rattle me, so spare me the inbox space. It's already full enough. ;) Also, if your PM is an attempt to get me to stop my practice of sending reviews about rule violations, I can tell you now that there are much better uses of your time. I've been on this site for a long time, and I'm not interested in changing my stance. |
