Well this is a fun fic. I like all the next-gen kids here. They seem to be their own people rather than a carbon copy of the parents so that's good. The idea of Lily dating Scorpius is a good one, even more so with her protective brother. Kinda wondering where Albus was while all this was going down.

Haha, ah the good old family moments! xD I love Lily/Scorpius because I think they're much better suited for each other than Rose/Scorpius...at least in my opinion, but it's only the Next Generation we're talking about...oh God, I'm rambling on again. xD Anyways, about the story, it was short and cute! Nice job!

This is adorable, sibling love is some of my favourite stuff to read. This is very well done, and James telling Scorpius that he isn't good enough for her (and how anyone isn't, really). That is wonderful, and the level of protectiveness James has over his sister.
(Also, Scorpius with Lily is nice and refreshing. He's almost always with Rose, and this pairing deserves a lot more love.)
I like Scorpius' characterization; the way he almost brushes James off, like he isn't worried. Lovely job, great little drabble!

Ahaha, this is a perfect little moment. XD I love how James is trying to look out for his little sister, even though she's more than capable of taking care of herself. I can totally see James getting mad like that and deciding to take matters into his own hands with Scorpius. And then I love Lily's response, and how James also knows that she can take care of it. XD And the last line is perfect! *giggles*

This was lovely. Despite the shortness of the fic, I think you managed to convey a lot about the three characters' personalities, and I really love their characterizations here. James being protective of Lily (especially when Lily doesn't need protection) is something that I think just makes a lot of sense for him, at least in the way I see him as well, and I loved seeing that here. '"And if you hurt her, I will kill you." "Not if she gets to me first."' - this was also great. I love your Lily here, especially the note about her being cunning and manipulative. (Slytherin!Lily ftw) I really like the relationship between Lily and James here, and I ship Lily/Scorpius as well, so overall I thought this was really cute, and a fun little drabble to read.

I mean, James' protectiveness is what I totally imagined him doing-him and the whole family.
[She's too good for anyone, and if you hurt her, I will kill you.] This part was rather cute, brother and sister cute because of course, for a overprotective brother, no man is good enough for his sister.
And that understanding part, is where they kind of bond, and I love that. It's sweet.

Awww, James going all big-brother on Scorpius is one of the many ways to my heart :) He behaved exactly how I would imagine him to (in my HC) if his little sister were to date Scorpius Malfoy. All protective, and no doubt he'd beat the crap out of Scorpius if he were to misplace a hair on her head.

I kind of also laughed at this, too. Especially Lily's last line about boys. Yes, boys. Sometimes boys will be boys, truly. *sigh*

This story is really sweet, despite it's short. I liked the little funny plot and I loved a lot your portrayal of James. I can imagine him behaving like that. I loved the interaction between all of them and I was giggling while reading this. I especially liked the ending, as it was both true and comic. I didn't spot any mistakes, very sweet feet, good job!

I could practically /see/ Hermione in the fourth book in those lines - she does the same thing when Harry and Ron decide to play Quidditch at the Burrow xP
