I liked it. I could definitely see Regulus' change of heart happening that way.

Oh, now this was sad, but that's a good thing. I've never paid much attention to Regulus as I've seen him as a periphery character that JKR used to advance the horcrux plotline, but this story fleshes his character out until you really feel for him.

The invention of Melody, and how she figures into the plot of this piece? Tragic. A sad, but extremely well drawn portrait.

This story completely blew me away. It could very well have happened just like this. A man who was thinking clearly might have considered Kreacher's story and made arrangements for the poison.

Holy crap. Jaw-droppingly good. Don't normally like reading Regulus stories, but this one makes me want to read more. The indecision, the grief, the heel-faced turn. Oh my God, what a story. Brava/o.

Good story. I liked how the two threads of Regulus' life - his growing dissatisfaction with the Death Eaters and his romance with Melody - came together tragically. It was very sad and well done.

I also liked how the relationship with Bellatrix and Narcissa was played - it felt very realistic.

I really love the opening scene of a tortured Regulus listneing to this lovely girl playing her music. It was a perfect set-up for the tragedy to come.

This is lovely and so sad. I kept hoping that there might be a happy ending for Melody at least (knew there couldn't be one for Regulus), but it worked much better like this, heartbreaking though it was.

I like this story a lot. Giving Regulus a love interest was romantic and tragic, and I liked the portrayal of Regulus' relationship with Narcissa and Bellatrix.

Thereby giving Regulus even greater impetus to take the drastic action that he did. Tragic.
