isn't it just SO fucked up when you are actually working on something, like, on a fanfic or original story, and something stupid happens that you just KNOW will sound horrible the the ears of the people you tell what happened? I hate that. it's like how teachers don't like the excuse that I don't like printing so I never have references for art class or my essay for english XD

Congrats on another update. :D Today really was one of those cool days with all the same numbers 09/09/09 if you only forget that this is the year 2009 because then it would really look like 09/09/2009. I'm rambling again so I'll shut up now.

This was good, and I don't mind waiting for updates on stories that I like so much. Don't push yourself too hard. Anyway, the relationship between those two is interesting - seems that Kaiba's the driving force, but Bakura is the base that makes it work. Seto COULDN'T do this himself, and Bakura WOULDN'T. And as far as the day locked in together... this should be fun.

First I shall summarize this review in one word:

Damn!

I've read who knows how many 'Dark Marik wins' stories that to see a 'Zorc wins' story is sort of refreshing. To see one which, despite its brevity is actually written well, is doubly so. Congratulations for writing something rather amazing and innovative!

Fascinating that you took Kaiba to be the narrator, but really it is to be expected. He fills in a lot of those holes, what with the KaibaCorp tower of power and all that. I'm so relieved you didn't kill off Mokuba to make things more angsty, there's plenty of drama and suspense already. Which reminds me, the way you use words in this story... so good! Really, everything seems so deliberately chosen, it is so easy to just become immersed in this and know that I am getting out of this story exactly what I'm supposed to.

Language thing again: its strange that what I especially like about each chapter are the little golden lines, the ones that just jump out at you and you're like yeah. There are a few in each chapter that just make it amazing. Strive for that level of awesome in every paragraph!

The Bakura thing was cool. Bakura is always cool, so using him is a really nice choice. That whole dynamic just has SO much potential.

Okay, again to address the shortness of chapters thing; I'm not sure if this was intentional but I feel like there are so many unanswered questions that come up from reading this. For example, HOW does Kaiba keep everyone in the tower safe? Especially because he never leaves it (until now?)? Please don't give him unfounded fung-fu skills to break into the museum (which is BRILLIANT by the way). HOW does everyone find out about things if the streets are filled with crime and dissolution, the internet? You said there was power! Which begs the question, WHY is there still power? Generators would explode, people would stop working, inflation would rise, people would flee the country, and HOW WOULD ANYONE EAT? That just bugged me reading the entire story. How would anyone feed themselves for a year with the city burning and people running around in a panic? This bothers me, but its just a small, annoying itch, not a big tally.

I believe that is everything I wanted to comment on and I hope you update soon, because this story really is worth continuing. There's so much good stuff happening, and I would really love to read more! Thank you for writing this!

I must say, these chapters are quite short, but they're tantalizing...I always come back for more, no matter how long it takes for an update. ...Suddenly, I understand why my FFVII readers continue reading my works. They apparently feel the way I do about yours.

Please try to do some update soon. This one was just a filler and that's no fun. Well, it kind of is since Kaiba was thinking about stuffs related to Bakura and was correct in his thinkings. I hope he does. It'll be great to hear Bakura ignore him and then Ryou tells him. Well, until Kaiba wants to know about Bakura the theif. X3

Okay now back to the chapter; for one, I'm glad you updated, and for two, I have a question about Mokuba. Why does he think that Bakura is bad news? I'm refering to the part where Bakura came out of the shadows and then Mokuba's protests only got louder.
