shejams chapter 1 . 5/10/2018 Lol! Why, oh, why is this my first time reading this? I enjoyed this immensely. Poor Homer! Lol I was actually feeling sorry for him. I think this is the best "Brucie" I've read so far. He and Dick were awesome! And I think my favorite part is: "You need another tray of canapés," a crisp English accent informed him. He was so involved in his own little world that he didn't even see the man come up to him. Oh no. It was the bossy old guy. Alfred replaced Homer's empty tray with a fresh one. "We are not paying you to stand about and gawk. Now get moving." "Yes sir." The stern tone itself made Homer obey. He fought off the urge to click his heels and salute. He had the distinct feeling that if he didn't immediately do as told, something evil would befall him. Lol that's right! Don't mess with Alfred! Lol |
NoMeImporta32 chapter 1 . 3/21/2017 Which Robin was it? I bet it was Jason Todd. It would so be right up his alley to blow up a toilet. This story is fantastic from the first word to the last. The reactions were delightful. I loved Bruce's joke on Clark. With how lax security is, it is no wonder that these parties are always being robbed by super villains, such as Two-Face. I found it a little hard to believe how easy it was for Homer, but suspend believability and get a real treat of a story. I liked that Dick is still a Superman fan. That comment of rather being the big guy instead of Robin was priceless. Even Homer has some charm, despite being a tabloid reporter. I loved how he saw himself as James Bond. Overall, this story was well done. |

Alpecca Ankaa Black chapter 1 . 4/3/2014 This is one of the best light-hearted Batman fanfics I have ever read! You really portrayed the characters perfectly. |
The Miss America chapter 1 . 6/30/2013 haha I totally love this! |
Book girl fan chapter 1 . 5/26/2013 I think the alliteration was awesome. In addition, I think Clark probably enjoyed watching Bruce's reaction. Batman is so serious and awesome, it must be fun seeing him act like a ditz. |

Callette chapter 1 . 2/14/2012 That was hilarious! I was actually laughing out loud (which I rarely do when reading), so well done. I especially loved some of the dialogue. Thanks! |
Liara-Shadowsong chapter 1 . 1/31/2012 Fantastic! I like how even though this guy has a lot of the details quite a lot off the mark, he does have some genuine idea what the big picture looks like even if he can't really prove it. Bruce and Dick's reaction at the party was also picture perfect, and Alfred is awesome as always. I also like the ending: yes, they completely squashed the story, but they didn't ruin the guy's career/life like I'm sure they could have managed if they'd have really wanted to, but rather did something that will actually help him in the long run and got him down a career path that suits him better (and that he'd already made the first steps towards on his own beforehand, to boot!) |
Qoheleth chapter 1 . 5/7/2011 Dear Arlene: It's certainly a clever story, but you might want to trim off a little of the deadwood. For instance, when Bruce says, "Turnips are good for you, you know," you don't really need to add, "He actually meant I love you"; we can infer that. And you let Commissioner Gordon go on just a little too long about how Bruce Wayne could never be Batman. There's a number of other spots like that scattered throughout the story, and it detracts rather severely from what's otherwise quite a fun read. Sincerely, Qoheleth |
Lolchen chapter 1 . 5/23/2010 *laughs her head off* Please, mercy! *giggles* Oh my, whatever Homer thought he was doing there... it was hilarious! How he planned it all and stuff, how close to the truth he was while still being so OFF... Loved the Commissioner theory though, poor, poor Gordon. Anyway, Robin's revenge was cool, too. And of course, there's always Bruce prevention... *grins* Cool plot, well thought out and greatly written! I LOVED it! Lolchen |
Princess613 chapter 1 . 9/1/2009 How very amusing. |
