So good it made me dig up my old account password just so I could post this. Absolutely great stuff, had me going, "One more chapter," until it was three in the morning.

Had me clapping like a child at one point in the story and left me feeling like I'd been punched in the gut at another. Think I'll be taking notes on how to write from this.

Its really funny how the stats of Ess'ai sucks with level 12, but where are the souls?, we know Dark Soul is a "hard" game but, has his skills and improves too, he need to be more strength, not just a doll how die everytime...

I’ll admit I am somewhat intrigued about what exactly Freddy was doing behind the scenes that warranted the apparent ‘top-tier rolls.’
(I imagine they’re not actually all that interesting, but still, the level of implied luck on its own is the only selling point it needs.)

Also, I feel compelled to mention that Mustafa is of the ‘Camus’ archetype. Of course, I suppose I can forgive Ess’ai for this grievous mislabeling since I’m assuming he’s only played Awakening, but still. As a (self-)certified fan of the series as a whole, unforgivable.

Looks like Giant Rock regained his Humanity and came back from the dead.

Loved the update. I imagine that Robin has some hilarious stories of Ess'ai from the previous timeline or something, perhaps Libra has shared some stories with Robin. Can't wait to see what you do with this story!

It's really ironic that the SI is using bows and staves when his worst stats are skill and luck.

Here we see a farmer in its natural habitat, farming on an unexpecting foe for its own gains. In order for it to progressively gain more and more "exp", the common farmer will find battlefields and warzones to sate its urges. Truly, the common farmers are an enigmatic race to thrive in such an environment.
