This follows the story of young Hal Jordan, an orphaned 15 year old, drifting between homes who, one day, is taken as the host of the legendary Green Lantern Ring and is taken under the wing of the Gold Lantern, Thaal Sinestro. Together, they must find each of the 7 Power Rings and unite to stop the evil Galactic Warlord, Despero.
