Update 07/2017:

Chapters 11-14 added to "The Challenge"

Long time no see, people. :) "Updated: Sep 8, 2009" - That's what the little info box on this story has said until now. I can't believe it's been close to a decade since this was updated.

I used to write like crazy back then, hours and hours a day. It certainly helped to have a student lifestyle and a relaxed part time job with plenty of time for that. Then life happened and I'm now in my early thirties with a mortgage and a career. Still traveling as much as my savings and credit card limit allow. ;)

Even though I haven't written since 2009, not finishing this story has always haunted me. In all honesty though, these four chapters are the probably the last ones I will ever post but I promise you: they are good. I wrote majority of these 8 years ago but never got around to posting them. They were unfinished and "unpolished" and I've now spent this entire weekend re-reading and editing all of them, especially the last chapter, chapter 14. Hopefully there's some type of closure for you regarding the story.

I'm in no way expecting people to still read this, but just in case there's even one person out there who remembers this story from back in the days, this is dedicated to you.

Update 12/2010:

So, it's been about a year since I've updated "The Challenge" and about 9 months since I've even visited this website. Right at the start I wanna say how sorry I am about my laziness and to everyone (if there even are any left) who have been expecting updates. I am sorry. No, I'm not gonna make up some sad, emotional story to why I haven't updated in over a year because I don't wanna lie. No family drama, no sudden circumstances, no nothing; just the same old, same old: too much work and not enough time/energy/motivation to write. I honestly don't know what I'm going to do with The Challenge. I don't know if I will finish it or quit it. I'll update my decision here as soon as I know anything for sure. The good news is: there WILL be at least a couple more chapters. I actually wrote them February 2009, yes about 18 months ago, but I never posted anything because I wasn't sure if that was the direction I wanted to go. But now since I'm not sure of anything, naturally I will post them after reviewing them and making sure they make sense story-wise.

Anyhoo, so sorry again for not updating anything in a while.

Thanks for the support and reading my stories! I love all the feedback I get, good or bad.
