6/13/2020 update: I still haven't gotten out of writers block and have mostly been drawing (find me on tumblr and Deviantart @ Avese23 and on instagram @ aveseanbos) but I wanted to address several current events. Firstly, happy pride! Go check out queer fics, they make quarantiine more bearable. Secondly, I am a person who grew up on a lot of mainstream fandoms created by cishet white people. While in 2020 I have the critical eye to recognize controversy in media, and access to a lot of well written and diverse content, I still have attatchments to my first introductions to fandom, even the problematic ones. Probably the most prominant example would be harry potter. When I was younger I used to look up to JKR, back when I didn't recognize the biases her work contained and back before she made those biases painfully obvious. (I've been working to remove her from lists of my favorite authors on various sites, if you see one I missed please let me know) Harry Potter was and is a big part of who I am, and it's deeply upsetting to know that the creator of something that important to me is spreading so much hatred. While I'm all for Death of the Author, Fandom Belongs to the Fans, we can't just act like JKR isn't actively influencing and profitting off of the fandom. Because of this I'd urge potterheads to be thoughtful about how they interact with the fandom. Instead of buying official merchandise (which supports not only jkr but big companies in general) think about buying from queer and trans artists (I'd suggest TheGaylyProphet and/or TheMischeifManagers, they've talked a lot about very important issues and make amazing content).

Long story short, will I continue to interact with the Harry Potter fandom? Most likely. The HP fandom can be really beautiful and I think it's important that the loving side of it can exist in spite of the toxicity. The series offers an oppurtunity to have really important conversations about how and why many elements of it are problematic, and to create our own headcanons that bring the inclusive perspective JKR was too close minded to provide.

In conclusion, JKR is a TERF who is using her platform to spread offensive and harmful misinformation. She's distracting from the pressing issues people should be focussing on such as the BLM movement (including the deaths of numerous black trans individuals). She doesn't deserve her fandom, and I have honestly no empathy for her feelings or thoughts at this point.

4/14/2020 UPDATE PLEASE READ: Contrary to popular belief I have not dissapeared off the surface of the earth. That said, I have grown a lot as a person and a writer since I was last active as an author on this site. The fics posted are mostly abandoned (which I will probably archive then delete), except for a few which may label as on hiatus and continue at a slower pace (unless they suddenly grow an active audience I doubt continuing them gradually will prove troublesome). My older work is not what I am focussing on right now however. As I mentioned, I have changed and that includes what kind of stories and styles I want to write in. I have also been suffering from intense writers block for the past year which I am working hard to overcome. I have sketched out a good amount of oneshots for ships/ideas I want to pursue (if it looks like I am going to end up finishing and posting any of them I will give a heads up here.) Along with that there is a Drarry Eighth Year fic and a Linny AU that I am currently making outlines for. *Fingers Crossed* I will hopefully be posting both of those on this site and over at AO3 (my username there is the same) once I am sure I will be able to commit to them. If anyone reads/writes a good Luna Lovegood fanfic, please comment the title. Luna (in my opinion, at least) is the best Harry Potter character. I think I'm going to write a Luna fanfic at some point, but I don't have any ideas yet. Also, I'm really focusing on HUFFLEPUFF POWER!

I've been doing fanfiction.net for a year now, I was first introduced by my friend MagicGirl11 and enjoy everything about ! I have written quite a few stories now (none finished though, not yet) and love to read fanfictions as well. I have also recently discovered forums, and have even created one. About Rose Zeller:

Rose is a real Harry Potter character. She has many different descriptions, but her backstory is pretty much up for grabs. In my version Rose is basically a mixture of Hermione (smart), Ginny (cool), Harry (brave), and when she gets older she becomes very loyal and hufflepuffy, but at first it's surprising.

Jarred, on the other hand. Is a mixture of Ron (Arrogant, rude, overlooked, disrespected/disrespectful...) but however there is a bit of Neville (Not the best at magic but very nice and brave). Anyway, Jarred at first look doesn't seem to fit into any house, but he finds his place. Everyone does.

The main difference between Rose and Jarred is Rose is a real Harry Potter character, but Jarred is not. I try to portray them as realistically as possible. I hope you like it! Please review! Thanks!

Sinrose is really close to Rose, and often picks stuff up and immediately tries to put things together. The problem is not everything she hears is necessarily true. But, how can one separate the truth from the lies, when what the one who she loves most believes what is false herself? Rose is having a tough year, which means Sinrose is having a tough year. When Rose refuses to let her deliver a pouch of dung bombs- Sinrose snaps. She has to do something to make Rose realize how useful she could be. When Cho mistakes her for a school owl, she sees her chance to prove herself. But when something tragic happens- she wishes she had stayed at home.

About I Am My Own Dopelganger

It's different from my other fics, also a lot darker. Basically, There are these two girls who both believe with all their heart that they are who they think they are, but one of them isn't. In the book, it will seem as if one of them is right, but then a change of plot will make you think otherwise. Throughout the story I hope to surprise people with twists. I am going to have a sequel to it, about the original main characters I thought would be in the story. I have the end scene of the second story prewritten and am very excited for it (even if it is ways away) I hope people have as much fun reading it as I have writing it.

About Dark Angels & Faith

As soon as I finished the Twilight series I knew I had more than one fanfics coming on. This one is about Irina, and why she made all the decisions she did. It includes all of Irina's second life, from her turning- to her unfortunate murder. It also gives the reader a glimpse of her sister, Tanya and Kate, and how they reacted to their mother's execution. This story is more like "I am my own Doppelganger" than either of my Harry Potter ones, as Irina's life seems shrouded in constant lashes of hurt. For the other Twilight fanfictions, I'm thinking about one on an Emmett and Angela ship (a suggestion from another user) and/or one from Renesme or Jane's POV.
