Type of FanFiction I like-

Good NaruHina - Those who write good NaruHina fics, thank you for your stories.

Stories that are very original - To the authors of such stories as Team Eight, keep up the good work. To those who keep on repeating the same thing over, please try to be original in some way.

Stories that have a proper flow of narration - What I mean by this is that stories should have a proper flow to them without interruptions. In other words, leave the 'color commentaries' for the Author's Note at either the beginning or end of the chapter. Also translations should also be at the beginning of the story or at the end. Examples-

Hinata picked up the white rabbit. (Ah, isn't that cute?)

Hinata picked up the white rabbit.

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! (Shadow Clone Technique!) Wrong!

Kage Bunshin no Jutsu! Right!

Stories that have decent proofreading - I don't think I have to explain.

Stories that I despise -

Naruto (or Whoever) Godliness-Can't Do Anything Wrong/Everyone Else Incompetent - These two overused ideas go hand in hand like a really bad relationship. Just because Naruto(or whoever) is 'godlike' doesn't mean the rest of the cast should be portrayed as incompetent idiots. It's an insult to their fans and to the characters.

Harem Trap - Not a fan of Harem in general but Harem Trap stories piss me off. What is a Harem Trap? Well basically its a story where reader thinks they are reading a story about their favorite pairing. Then the 'pairing' turns 'harem' at some point with zero warning at all from the author. While Harem Traps are rare and authors are kind enough to give a warning having a harem in their story, Harem Trap stories still exist.

On a side note about NaruHina and Harems - While Hinata is the most unselfish character in the series, I don't think she is that unselfish. If a harem situation pops up in a NaruHina fic, Hinata would either fight off 'competition' or give up on Naruto all together. Naruto influence on Hinata in canon has made her a bit of an 'all or nothing' type person. In other words, Hinata will either get 'Naruto all to herself' or Naruto will get 'nothing from Hinata'.

Excessive Character Bashing - Not exactly a fan of Sakura and Sasuke but there is such a thing as taking things too far. The same thing applies for stories that bash Naruto and Hinata or whoever. If people are going to bash a character then make up a plausible reason for doing so and not something that's been done before.

Perpetual Douche Bag Hiashi - Yeah, it makes great drama for some reason why Hiashi doesn't care for Hanabi, Hinata, or Neji along with the resulting verbal abuse toward them. However, if a fanfic has Neji vs. Hinata and Naruto vs. Neji with the same results as they do in canon then Hiashi should also be given the same end results in that he knows he royally screwed up his relationships with his daughters and nephew and is fix things instead of continuing the Hyuga Soap Opera.

Misplaced/Mixing Priorities Sasuke - It's supposed to Revenge First, Repopulating Clan Second. Not Revenge First Get Laid[Usually Through Attempted Rape] Whenever The Chance Arises. As stated before, not a Sasuke fan but making him rapist is not only OOC, it's also insulting to his fans. . .yeah, it's strange he still does have fans.
