Great to finally see the first of the sequels to WOTB. Admitedly, I haven't read any of the novels (I watched the anime adaptation of three), but given how different things are from canon, I don't think I'll be too lost.

Well, if Kakashi's losing eyesight for relying on just one eye... Kakashi is far from the only one eyed character in this series, so something similar should happen to them as well.

So, Shin is working with Orochimaru? Interesting. He was a pretty patethic threat in Scarlet Spring, so perhaps he will have a better performance working under the Snake Sannin.

Anyway, a great beginning to another promising story. I'll be eagerly waiting for the next chapter.

I didn't read Hidens but I am more or less aware what have happened in them.

It is nice to see that Yellow Flash didn't lose his edge. Most ninja are completely useless against him. It really well show his might. It will be nice to see more ice jutsu, Haku never get chance to really show off.

Kushina and Minato survivor guilt and need to adapt to future may be very interesting topic. Anyway see them interacting with son his girlfriend and grandchildren will be a blast.

So Kakashi will now have two Sharingan. It will be nice to see him using them to full potential. I assume that all canonical tricks of Obito with this eye will be at his disposal. I like your explanation that his first eye don't have off switch because it was makeshift surgery. it really show Rin skills what it went so well in such conditions. They interactions and thoughts about Obito are also very good.

So Shin works for Orochimaru. I would say that following orders of somebody that isn't mad makes him bigger threat than in canon but it would suggest that snake is sane. Unhindered intelligence and competence despite madness?

You did excellent work with returning Orochimaru creepy factor to original level. So far he stand no chance in straight fight against Naruto, Sasuke, Hinata and Sakura but he always preferred to move thru shadows and strike at vulnerability. So there is no denying that he is a serious threat.

It look like Mitsuki will be fruit of Orochimaru attempt to make better body for himself. He will either escape or be stolen by a leaf. I wonder what you have in ind with lv. 3 cursed seal, will it be source of Mitsuki Sage Transformation?
